A gun battle is not a mass shooting.   A Mass shooting is one lone gunman killing people all at once.   A gun battle is two gangs attempting to kill each other which is clearly what this was from the evidence and location.

One does hope that there exists some vid cam footage that is being reviewed at this moment. Drug gang involvement? Not enough public info yet to know, yet, but I would not be surprised.

Thus, every single gun law (background checks, waiting period, mag limits, and a host more) does not matter or apply. Prohibited persons don't follow gun laws enacted for honest and responsible gun owners.

I'm interested to know if Mr. Martin might have been at a bar while packing a heater, might have been drinking while packing, (offenses in Cali), and just how and from whom did he obtain his firearm and his ammo?

It would be interesting and instructive to add up just how many local, state, and fed gun laws were (allegedly) violated.
