PM calls on civilians to carry firearms as Israel goes on high alert
Israel’s security alert status has been raised to its highest level. That means police are much more visible on the streets, working longer shifts and focusing their presence on schools and popular gathering spots.
Troop presence in the West Bank hand around the Gaza strip has also increased, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announcing they are adding 14 battalions and combat soldiers from special forces units. Soldiers who carry a certain class of weapon will also be required to take their weapons with them even while on leave, Bennett said.
Bennett has also made the unusual call to all civilians with a license to carry a firearm to now keep their guns on them at all times, saying Israelis need to be “alert.”
“Open your eyes. Whoever has a license to carry a weapon, this is the time to carry it,” he said in a video statement Wednesday.

Unlike the U.S. and Europe, Israel believes in a well armed citizenry. And surprise surprise, mass shootings by its own citizens are rare if ever.
The Arabs feel very emboldened. They believe Biden (and especially Harris) will prevent Israel from mounting any kind of meaningful counterterrorism actions.
The anti-Israel ambassador Biden sent also set the tone. He made it very clear he wanted us to die.
They’ve only come to that realization relatively recently. At least as far as civilian carry.

Israelis have universal military service. While serving many citizens carry military weapons all the time.
After service, it is much more difficult to obtain a firearms, and very difficult to get a permit to carry one.
Only a tiny percentage of Israelis own personal firearms.
If only there was a world politician to guarantee Peace and Security for 7 years
And then, 1,260 days after confirming that 7 year “peace”, goes into a rebuilt Temple and declares himself to be “god”.
Matthew 24:15-22
King James Version
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Ammunition is tightly controlled in Israel as well. Only one firearm permitted, and license renewal every 3 years.
Kind of and depends where you live.
We have two Glocks, two shotguns at home, and one M4.
Both my wife and I serve (and I continue to serve in an active reserve capacity) and it was a simple matter of filling out the right forms.
Note: only the shotguns are our personal property.
Thank you.
I appreciate any information from people who are there, who have personal experience.
