It's the same operation, but passing through an extra, unsanctioned node.

Option 1:

Germany gives Euros to the Bank of Russia to buy Rubles, then uses those Rubles at Gazprombank to buy Oil.

Or

Option 2:

Germany gives Euros to GazpromBank, GazpromBank buys Rubles from the Bank of Russia with those Euros, and gives Germany the Oil.

In either case:

Because the direct link between Germany and the Russian Central Bank has been cut the second option has to be used. But the outcome seems to be no different.

Oh, it’s a breach! Little, tiny vladdie tells us so!

I gave up foul language for Lent. This is really a test.

What reserves have been stolen? The customers are seeking to pay in euros or USD, as they had been paying for years. Now, Russia wants to change the method of payment, mid-contract. Does the contract allow that? I doubt it.

I merely asked you a simple question, without malice.

Horse manure, there was plenty of malice.

Posted on another thread that it is way past time the red state governors/governments take control.

The pipeline states go ahead and get the companies to finish the keystone line no matter what this bunch of dorks in DC want.

Oil producing states start production and exploration of gas and oil on federal lands. Then signing treaties with each other for supplies.

They dont do that and this braying jackass bidet will drag us all down the hole with him.

Guess he could do it on failure of payment or wait for a verdict…

I’d guess timing during cold weather now is the most leverage…?

The boys at The Duran explain it today:

Inflation skyrockets in EU, as Putin squeezes Olaf Scholz & Germany faces severe recession [length - 35:34]
March 31st, 2022
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb8eviJzE-0

Here's the short version: As Zermany made payments to the Russians for energy in Euros over the course of March, the money was immediately CONFISCATED as part of the sanctions.

In essence, the Germans were getting free energy by pirating it from Russia.

What's going to happen now is that the Germans will pay Gazprom, which is NOT sanctioned, and the Euros will NOT be confiscated, but will pass to the Russian Central Bank to be converted to rubles.

Of course, the Twitteridiots are already screaming that Gazprom needs to come under sanction, too - in which case the Russians close the natural gas valves and kill the German economy.

It's very hard to find good info on what's going on here on FR, because of the war between the neocon globalists and the "Putin puffers" [I'm classified as a Putin puffer because I noticed that the play against the Russians was the exact play made against the Canadian truckers].

I've had to go outside FR to secure good information, which is unusual.

Actually your link in post #51 is a MSN AP rehash of this: MSN Newsweek article, dated yesterday, and the Tass news release is dated today.

So Tass claims this thread is the latest Russian position.

Yes, if he wished to exercise that leverage.

I’d guess timing during cold weather now is the most leverage…?

Yes, Russia's General Winter would be ideal - but what the propagandists are hiding is that Russian energy is 20 to 40 percent of Zermany's DAILY energy usage.

With nothing but unicorn farts to replace that, the German economy implodes in a week.

And this is true for the next couple of years at least.

Pooty did his homework, and german chancellor Oaf Doltz & his soygerman advisors didn't do theirs.

But they laughed at Trump when he told them so years ago.

[I get good information at The Duran]

Thanks Kiryandil, that is what we need around here, respectful, informational posts.

MSM Propagandizes and Tass offers no explanations or details.

And President Trump DID tell them.

Thanks again.

Well, reserves are...just that: reserves. They are “held” by the owner or the possessor. Once the owner or possessor sells off some of those reserves, they are no longer reserves; they are a traded commodity. So, in order for the “reserves” to be stolen, someone would have to take possession of them without the approval of the owner.

So, they have not been stolen.

But, I think you know that, and you simply misspoke.

What gave you the fantods was likely due to the fact the contractual purchasers sought to pay for the commodity in the same manner they have been paying all along; but, mid-game, the seller is seeking a different medium of exchange. What does the contract stipulate? From what I’ve read and heard on the news is that payment can be made in euros or USD, and said nothing about rubles. Now, the seller, Russia, wants payment in rubles. Seeking to continue paying in the same manner that was acceptable to both parties does not constitute “stealing.”

I’m shocked to see so many here are sucking putin’s D### or licking Zelensky’s P####.

No one can talk rationally about what is really going on. Putin was wrong to invade Ukraine. But also the West was wrong in how they were using Ukraine as their piggybank. But to think Putin is invading the Ukraine to expose that corruption they are fools. Putin is the biggest crook of them all. He is richer than Elon Musk...He isn’t exposing anyone. He had his chance to expose Hillary and the Biden’s but he didn’t do it.

Green Energy IS the problem not the solution. And Russia has been pushing it (covertly subsidizing marketing campaigns in the West).

Germany deserves what it gets for going green like a bunch of idiots. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to get back to cheap coal energy.

“Horse manure, there was plenty of malice.”

My EXACT question (that you found so malicious):

...Question: Your screen name is Navy Patriot. Did you serve in the navy of some country? If so, which country?...

How is that malicious? Your profile page is blank.

But, you got your panties in a wad...and, by the way, never answered the question! What; are you ashamed?
