Rogue MP Bob Katter said every schoolkid should be armed 'to defend Australia'
Mr Katter compared tensions in the Indo-Pacific to the situation in Ukraine
He also said every school should have buildings where weapons are stored
Outspoken politician Bob Katter has called for high school students to be given guns to protect Australia from an 'existential threat' from China.
The North Queensland MP compared the growing tensions in the Indo-Pacific to the situation in Ukraine and said teenagers should be trained to take up arms.
'How are you going to defend this country? You've got no fuel, you've got no petrol, you've got no missiles, you've got no army,' the rogue MP told Sky News this week.
Mr Katter said under his plan 13-year-olds would be trained to use rifles and schools across the country would have armoury buildings where weapons are stored.
He added that he was taught to use a rifle 'as big as he was' when he was in his early teens.

'There is a firing range right in the centre of Sydney actually … it would be working 24 hours a day every day of the year,' Mr Katter said.
'Look at Ukraine, how is a little tiny country holding at bay… one of the two greatest armies on earth,' he said.
'How are they doing that? Because everyone has a gun.
'If you have five million rifles in Australia and people knowing how to use them then you have to have a 100-million-man army to invade Australia and hold it.'

I note the original Red Dawn was a tool to make Americans more friendly towards Communist China, because of the implication that China was allied with the US at the time. It was part of Beijing’s “Charm Offensive” in the 1980s to get the US to agree to allow China to manufacture more goods.

The only existential threat in Australia is their own government. No police/enforcers of the vax mandate were executed so why should they defend themselves against the Chinese? It would be trading one Marxist dictatorship for another.
When the Chinese Armada appears of their shores...
Betcha they wish they had back all those semi-auto rifles they confiscated a few years back.
Same for New Zealand.
They would immediately shoot their own government.

Maybe Australia will face reality to the extent of offering dual Australian-US citizenship to all US registered Republicans--but NO registered Democrats. That would save Australia and the entire world.
I have been saying for years that, when the Chinese Navy sails through the Coral Sea and Bass Straight on its way to Perth, the Australian People will awaken at last--and will realize IN TERROR how foolish they have been!

And all of those FALs they destroyed. They need to claw their way back to sane gun laws. Looks like he’s holding a Remington 7615. That’d work for training the kids, but repelling an invasion would require more firepower.
They need to upgrade their Navy and air coverage. They’re a long way from potential enemies and should be able to wipe out any troop ships headed their way before they get close.
Have not many of the NWO elites bought property there and constructed their survival compounds? Won't their private armies of serfs be sufficient?
Each of those high school students should have a gun and a drone...
