Journalist Bob Woodward said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” that former President Donald Trump’s rhetoric instigated “the whole insurrection.”
Mitchell said, “The entire day is wiped out, from 11:00 in the morning until 6:00 at night. The entire period of the insurrection, the lead up to the insurrection, and the multiple video replays where he was being, you know, urged by almost everyone to comply. We know that there were calls because we even know that Kevin McCarthy and others on the Hill were calling him and getting calls from him.”

First - it wasn’t an insurrection.
That happened in the summer of 2020 and Nancy Pelosi knealt and made the Democrats swear an oath of fealty to an actual Marxist insurrectionist group.
Second - “rhetorically” speaking of the Democrats hadn’t cheated we wouldn’t be on the precipice of nuclear war and the destruction of the nation as a whole to crippling inflation and food and fuel shortages.

In a way I suppose because he was representing the public who voted for him. They won the election and watched as the quality control branch of the Beltway worked their vote reinforcement scheme. Nobody would stop it. I call that the right thing.
