A Florida teacher told MSNBC he worries that he can’t discuss his love life with his kindergarten class after Governor DeSantis signed the parental rights education bill.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Monday signed into law HB 1557, a measure that forbids instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity to children in grades pre-K through grade 3.
The left is angry that DeSantis is protecting children from groomers.
There is no reason why any adult should be talking about gender identity or sexual orientation to 5 year olds.
One Florida teacher said he’s worried that he can’t talk about his partner and personal life to his kindergarten class.

My first and second grade teacher was Mrs. Fisher. She never once mentioned anything about her home life to us. She taught us to read, write[print, we learned to write cursive in the third grade under Mrs. Boone] add, subtract, and count. We also learned to color draw, finger paint, and paste[glue]. We did not have a kindergarten. But again, neither her or Mrs. Boone said anything about her home life. Mrs. Boone would grab you by the shoulders and shake you until your teeth rattled when you misbehaved.
The only personal thing I recall knowing about my kindergarten teacher was that she was married to someone. I knew this because we were all required to address her with her title, specifically as in “Mrs.” The gender of her marriage partner was never identified although it could be inferred from the context of the era.
Get your kids out of that class quicly — I mean today!
You can teach them everything a kindergartner needs to know at home.

I do not remember ANY of my public school teachers, from kindergarten through grade 12, ever discussing ANY of their personal life with us. Not their spouses, not their kids, not their quest to find love, none of that. I don’t even think they talked about their pets!
Why is it so hard for some people NOT to talk about that? There’s plenty of other things to discuss in school.

It’s getting to the point where parents really need to start taking matters into their own hands.
Just DAMMM, No kindergartener needs to hear about hetro OR homo sex OR be questioned about. PERIOD. Which is what the bill covers.
Now we have grade schoolers texting other grade schoolers for “pics”.
Which will instantly get the kid branded a sexual deviant.
Yet Disney wants teachers to openly discuss sexual activities.
As opposed to the highly enjoyable recreation activity of motorboating....
