Massive crowds cause trouble in Panama City Beach

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) — The Walmart on Front Beach road is once again closed and barricaded as law enforcement officers continue to deal with large and rowdy crowds.

Rowdy crowds gathered in large numbers and disrupted many Panama City Beach businesses Saturday night, many of which closed down early out of safety concerns.

“I didn’t see any shooting but people were talking about it but I did hear about it and everybody was running,” visitor Ladariya Gurley said. “We were getting run over by people. They were pushing us.”

“I came in my sandals because when we see a whole group of people running, we’re gonna run. We’re not gonna sit there,” visitor Kiniya Marsh said.

Local fine dining establishment Firefly closed three hours early Saturday night.

“You tell people that have their anniversary dinner or their birthday dinner and have scheduled an 8 o’clock reservation I gotta call them and say “Hey guys, we gotta cancel you,” Firefly owner Dave Trepanier said. “That birthday or anniversary only comes once a year so you got people that came into town for it so those decisions aren’t taken lightly but a the end of the day you have to consider public safety and the safety of your staff.”

In one community I lived they had a ‘Pancake House” - big place and everybody in town went there as it was open 24/7. All sorts of meetings there and the place to go after community events. Fun place even to go with a friend just for a coffee clutch. It was always a busy happening place.

Myrtle Beach goes through this for one week in the spring when the twerking convention comes to town.

After the first years of business losing money from people skipping out on hotel bills and restaurant meals, stealing from stores, trashing the town, creating havoc on the streets by using them as drag strips to race on, public drugging and drinking, public sexual activities everywhere.......businesses decided to close and board up the next year when the event rolled around but they were sued and forced to remain open during that time.

The past few years the city created a 24 mile loop that when you get in you can’t get out. That has sucked the wind out of the event somewhat.

I feel sorry for people out of state that don’t know about that week and book a family vacation there at that time.

Disney has gay days (maybe weeks?) at the parks and cruise ships. Wonderful family fun.

“Only a small percentage of these spring break troublemakers — the black ones, at least — seem to be actual college students on break.”

Bingo. Most are here for the partying and are not in college.

PCB also prohibits booze on the beaches for the month of March due to these people.

A little more from the local PCB news:

“”I personally encountered an individual holding an AR-15 who is now in custody,” Talamantez said. “We currently have three suspects (from) this incident detained at the police department being questioned.

“... The crowd that has been here this weekend — there is no words that can describe the way they have behaved themselves, conducted themselves and the amount of laws they have broken,” he added. “We are doing the best to manage this situation.”

As of about 7 p.m. Sunday, portions of Front Beach Road near where the shooting occurred were closed.

Ford noted that officers had confiscated about 50 to 60 guns over the weekend in Bay County.

“This community has been through this before, (and) this community has decided that this is not what we want,” he said. “We have fought these battles, won these battles, and we’re not going to let it happen again. We’re going to do everything in our power to stop that.

According to Smith, the owners of many local night clubs have chosen to close their establishments on Sunday night in response to the crime-ridden groups of spring breakers in the Panama City Beach area.

“We’re not going to allow people to come into our community and try to take over the community,” he said. “This is a place where people can come and bring their families and enjoy their time. They shouldn’t have to worry about all the gun activity that’s going on out here.””

P.S. Talamantez is the Panama City Beach (PCB) police chief.

One thing I have noticed about the cops here is that they don’t put with s**t. There are a lot of cops here and while polite and professional they will jack up a thug in a heartbeat.

Nope. The savage low IQ crowd strikes again.

The Walmart on Front Beach road is once again closed and barricaded

Here's video:

Spring break in Florida: a group of about 40 kids mobbed a Walmart and trashed the entire store. Just for fun.

Ladariya and Kiniya

Sounds like Russian cars

They sound like what they are: diseases. A blight on civilization. The bane of America.

I went to PC Beach for Spring break once. They didn’t have to barricade the Walmart.

We were in PCB for the weekend. Came in on Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning. We didn’t leave our condo after 5PM. This wasn’t your normal Spring Break crowd. This was a mob of feral blacks acting as feral blacks do whenever they gather in large numbers.

The best way to stop this crap is to have the local government impose surcharges on hotel and restaurant bills to cover the cost of police overtime. The cost will get passed along to the customers, and people like Ladariya and Kiniya will go somewhere else to do their special birthday events like Walmart shopping and Waffle House dinner.

It’s the locals’ issue not the State. No DeSantis. Not a federal issue either. No Biden
