A toxicology report for late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins shows the musician had multiple types of substances in his system at the time of death.
"The toxicology test on urine from Taylor Hawkins' body preliminarily found 10 types of substances, including: THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines, and opioids," the Attorney General's Office of Colombia shared.
"The National Institute of Legal Medicine is continuing medical studies to completely clarify the cause of death for Taylor Hawkins," continued the statement. The Attorney General's office will also continue conducting its own investigation.
The Foo Fighters confirmed Hawkins' sudden death at 50 late Friday night on social media.

"The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins," the band shared in a statement on Twitter. "His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever. Our hearts go out to his wife, children and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time."
On Friday, an ambulance was dispatched to a hotel in the north of Bogotá in Chapinero, Colombia, to assist a patient — believed to be Hawkins — according to a statement from the city's health secretary.
"The health professional who attended the emergency indicated that they performed the respective resuscitation maneuvers," the statement said in Spanish. "However, there was no response and the patient was declared deceased."
During his last in-person interview with Rolling Stone in June 2021, Hawkins declined to answer a question about sobriety, telling the outlet at the time, "I just lead a really healthy lifestyle."
The drummer entered into a two-week-long coma after overdosing in 2001.

The reason WHY people are raising THE POTENTIAL for Hawkins' demise to be related to shots, is because a) it's a fair claim - he WAS complaining of heart pain, and his employer was one of the most vocal pro-shot mouthpieces around, b) drummers tend to be in pretty decent shape, c) the patent abuse of the scientific method, quashing of assiduous inquiry, outright lying over the past 14ish months, and d) the crowdsourced canceling of anyone who goes against The Narrative. Kinda fishy.
I would go further, however, to state that claiming that Hawkins DEFINITELY died of shot-related complications is equally wrong. Again, it's March 8, 1982 and Belushi's died theee days ago...maybe it was an injection in a bungalow, maybe it was simply an overweight guy killed by a heart attack, or maybe he choked on a ham sandwich. Time will tell.
But hopefully we can agree, that this conclusion-jumping is the inevitable (idealized?) outcome of this man-made political climate. We should be battling the enemies of life, liberty, and property.
I am with you, in that I've seen some pretty sensational posts...the jabs making people Bluetooth accessible, and so on. That stuff is pretty bad - like deep fakes are the sole domain of the left - and Bush League. Sadly, normally rational people eating this junk up is undoubtedly part of the game plan.
But I will also say, that across the scores of WTF posts I've read, there have been a few that have some pretty compelling data. This is why the "misinformation" labels are so wrong. Let the free exchange of ideas and information rule the road. Indeed, all of the "died suddenly" posts made me do an actual article search across the years on the CNN website, and I found an uptick in such stories recently vs pre-2020. More data are needed, but that's how crazy ideas like ulcers coming from bacteria arise.
...Or maybe someone is concerned a little wisdom may infect the citizenry. Can't have that now.
I wrote this elsewhere...this is a bit like George Floyd. Many people believe he OD'd and the drugs killed him, ignoring the knee of the incompetent cop on his neck. Perhaps they go together...maybe Floyd would have tapped out without the cop. We will never know.
Same thing here. Maybe the drugs killed Hawkins. Again, it's 72 hours after he died. We have a tox report from Colombia. That's all. Perhaps being vaxxed and boosted weakened his heart to the point where his "usual" mix of drugs that previously made him happy, now interacted with all this and killed him. That's not a freakish hypothesis. Yet the freak out over this hypothesis being raised, is quite telling IMHO.
Opposition to the shots isn't a cult, just like people willingly taking the shots aren't sheeple. Saying there is no flipping way the shots contributed to Hawkins' death is as absurd as claiming Hawkins absolutely died of the shots.
