We’re in the middle of two weeks of radiation prevention after our cat’s I-131 treatment for hyperthyroidism. She’s “leaking” radiation from her body, so each of us can only touch her for 30 minutes a day. I figure that I’ve had so many x-rays in my life that I’m “hot” (in a bad way) anyhow.
Will not help you bob. Not that I blame you, but in a full out exchange, which will happen, there will be enough radiation spread cross the globe to trigger a global extinction event.
Fallout..will also spread like forest fires. From the fires burning in the cities it will get up into the atmosphere and spread. It will trigger massive fires..

My background is nuclear warfare, and no where have I ever even heard such a statement made such as that.
Well the Russians should be expert at this. But, that nuclear effect works on Russians, as well.
Putin is undeserving of being the leader of the Russian people.

You mean Russian military performed even worse than our military in Vietnam where the viet-cong kicked our azz good and Americans escaped in helicopters from rooftops. How many years was that war?
How about our military could not defeat the camel humpers in Afghanistan and we surrendered Kabul to Taliban? How many years was that war?
