Saving America from Planet-Threatening Fossil Fuels(caution, branDUHn pic at article)

Team Biden doubled down on calls for America to switch from gasoline cars to electric vehicles, and from coal and natural gas electricity generation to wind, solar, and expensive backup battery power. They claim this massive, costly restructuring of America can replace “dirty, planet-threatening” fossil fuels with “clean, renewable, sustainable” wind, solar and battery energy. It’s a duplicitous con.

Wind turbines and solar panels on this scale would defile millions of acres of crop, scenic and habitat land. They would kill millions of birds, bats and other wildlife. They require massive amounts of raw materials (and thus mining) to create expensive, inefficient, weather-dependent energy devices. They and 1000-pound battery modules are the least clean, renewable, sustainable energy sources imaginable.

“Clean” technologies merely replace CO2 and methane emissions in the USA with massive amounts of real, toxic pollution in other countries, out of sight and mind, where climate activists can ignore them.

I still like the idea of eliminating all dogs and cats first. Then we can take the temperature again to see where we are.

Very simple solution to what is a very simple problem, but one that would take a bit of fortitude and unwillingness to succumb to the wily ways of the Left…..

Find the areas that are inhabited by the liberal hipster, liberal tech folks and the wealthier liberals, that all congregate in the same areas, and cut them off. Cut off all electricity and natural gas to their homes. Let them show the world how they can sustain themselves on renewables and save the planet.

And when their mass migration begins, give them no quarter, no place to live, no food, nothing. Let them wallow in their fantasy land.

Nuclear winter

Hypothetical climatic effect of nuclear war
Nuclear winter is a severe and prolonged global climatic cooling effect that is hypothesized to occur after widespread firestorms following a large-scale nuclear war. The hypothesis is based on the fact that such fires can inject soot into the stratosphere, where it can block some direct sunlight from reaching the surface of the Earth. It is speculated that the resulting cooling would lead to widespread crop failure and famine. When developing computer models of nuclear-winter scenarios, researchers use the conventional bombing of Hamburg, and the Hiroshima firestorm in World War II as example cases where soot might have been injected into the stratosphere, alongside modern observations of natural, large-area wildfire-firestorms.

Solar cells and windmills require a lot of energy. That why most of their production is in China!

You can’t turn wind into fertilizer, yet a gallon of ethanol requires 26 pounds of corn.

There is not enough lityium in the world to build replacements for all the trucks much less for all the gas vehicles that are to be replaced. The goal is actually to severely restrict mobility.

Team Biden doubled down on calls for America to switch from gasoline cars to electric vehicles, and from coal and natural gas electricity generation to wind, solar, and expensive backup battery power.

He also doubled down on stupidity. Just ask the people in North TX how their solar and wind generators did last winter. Where do these tree-hugging twits think the power comes from to charge the batteries in their cars. Do they have any idea of the materials that go into fabricating a 1000lb battery? In Australia, they brag about charging stations in the middle of the Outback. True, but they don't tell you about the 10KW generator sitting next to the charging station belching out diesel exhaust.

If they really are “fossil” fuels, meaning they are composed of the remains of ancient plant and animal life, then all that carbon used to be on the surface. By using the fuels, we’re just returning the Earth to where it once was.

The goal is actually to severely restrict mobility.
The late great Barry Farber once told of a Soviet propaganda stunt that backfired miserably. They obtained copies of the Grapes of Wrath, added Russian subtitles and showed them in theaters to impress upon the people the evils of capatalism and greed. Instead the people who did see the movie were awestruck at how even the poorest Americans had their own cars, even if they were clunkers that barely ran and can relocate to seek better lives.

How do you manufacture electric wind and solar products? WITH FOSSIL FUEL!!! Its all a scam, one more thing being shoved down our throats. Individual car ownership and driving is a freedom that they don’t like, they cant control it so they raise the price of gas, and kill the economy

We drove north on US-97 in Oregon yesterday, then headed east on I-84 up the Columbia River Gorge. About ten miles before the Columbia River, you come upon a huge wind farm that continues up the Columbia for 40 miles. We saw over 10,000 wind turbines and NOT ONE was turning. Well, maybe a dozen were lazily spinning. HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars of assets just sitting there doing nothing.

It s the most colossal waste imaginable.

There is no such thing as a “fossil fuel.” Really. Petroleum, yes. Fossil fuel, no.
