That is an utterly ridiculous argument. We weren't willing to order our own regular military to border, so the idea of some foreign country sending their military into the U.S. to act as border guards is completely absurd. We obviously never asked or even suggested that happen, and if any nation would have offered, it would have been rejected out of hand.
The Ukrainians did, however, send troops to Afghanistan when we asked.

No difference. We have Posse Comitatus that precludes the military from being used, but that doesn’t (didn’t stop) Ukraine from acting in the same kind of way Xiden is - sanctions, other non-military enforcement (fiscal, etc.).

Zelensky has been to everybody and his brother trying to get his no-fly zone: from NATO, from Germany, from EU, from the Canadian Parliament, from the US Congress to ANYBODY. And we do the same thing Ukraine could have done for us here in a non-combatant manner.....
Let me put it this way. I will never accept a war with Russia over Ukraine just so Russia-Haters, war-mongers, the MIC and Democrats can pump up their poll numbers before the mid-term elections. Not my dog, not my hunt and damned sure not any of my children or grandchildren at life’s risk for it, period
