Russian precision-guided missiles are failing up to 60% of the time in Ukraine, three US officials with knowledge of intelligence on the issue told Reuters, a possible explanation for the poor progress of Russia's invasion.
Since President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24, Russia has failed to achieve basic objectives such as neutralizing Ukraine's air force despite a vastly larger armed forces.
The US officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the information, did not provide evidence to support the assessment and did not disclose what precisely was driving high Russian missile failure rates.
Though Reuters could not determine what a standard failure rate would be for air-launched cruise missiles, two experts interviewed by Reuters said any failure rate of 20% and above would be considered high.
The Kremlin says that what it calls a "special military operation" is going to plan and that Russia will achieve all of its aims. It casts the United States as an "empire of lies" which has unleashed an information war on Russia...
In recent days, Russia's defense ministry has lauded the professionalism and missile technology of the armed forces. It says claims of failures are misleading propaganda distributed by Russia's enemies headed by the United States.
MISSILE FAILURES
US defense officials told reporters this week that the Pentagon assesses that Russia has launched more than 1,100 missiles of all kinds since the war began...
Citing US intelligence, three US officials said the United States estimated that Russia's failure rate varied day-to-day, depended on the type of missile being launched, and could sometimes exceed 50%. Two of them said it reached as high as 60%...

Wonder how many duds we’ll have once the dynamic destructive duo occupying the WH finish?
Breaking News?
More like breaking wind.
Anonymous sources: MSM tactic to peddle junk.
It is all nice, and I almost believed you, except the “dud” in your photo looks like a Ukrainian Tochka-U and it wasn’t even fired, based on the configuration of stabilizers.
Unexploded rockets land in Ukraine Jewish community centre
<>
How does that help you with the gazillion of instances where nothing beyond anonymous sources is ever given?
What next? You gonna post Ghost of Kiev pics, debunked radio broadcasts of Snake Island personnel not surrendering when they did, and a mountain of other instances like those?
It’s time for you to align with the conservative position:
This isn’t an either/or moment in history but rather a neither/nor moment, and the conservative position is to be neither for Putin nor for Zelenskyy.
Putin is brutal and we know that but on the pro-Zelenskyy side are Soros, the WEF, Biden, the Establishment Bush Bots, Obama Bots, McCainiace, Neocons, etc, along with the degenerates pumping filth from Western Europe into Eastern Europe, the Russia! Russia! Russia! types who fed us propaganda for 6 years that dummies bought into, etc.
Best place to be is to for the U.S. to stay out of this, not prop the Biden presidency up, and push a united Europe to grow up and deal with their own turf as it’s long past due.

Well said.
Much appreciated.
The whole world condemns Putin's invasion, including Trump. Its funny because you're avoiding listing who is against sending weapons to Ukraine: Belarus, Eritrea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba and Noam Chomsky.
Looks like it can be cannibalized and made into mines and bouncing bettys, Vietnam style.
It’s good to condemn Putin, but for you to be conservative you have to condemn those aligning with Zelenskyy and remember how corrupt Zelenskky is.
Plus, Ukraine was in bed with Hunter Biden, the big guy getting 10%, and realize it’s globalists wanting the U.S. more and more involved.
And there’s alot of conservative, rock-ribbed, anti-neocons and others wanting to stay out of this you leave out.
I don’t think the middle of a war is the time to get into that. Zelenskyy should be voted out of office, same as Churchill was, right after the war.
Zelenskyy may be a lot of things, but it wasn’t his administration wasn’t the one in bed with Hunter and the big guy.
Did I say he was?
Zelenskky is corrupt in other ways. He had extremely low popularity even before the war broke out used a broad brush of going after Russian propaganda to shut down media opposition to him and criticism of him in Ukraine.
Putin supports our enemies abroad like Iran and sells advanced weapons and weapon technologies to China. Its moronic to ignore Putin's invasion of a sovereign country prattling on about corruption.
