Air drop? That’s not going to work on this scale. They could use airfields but they don’t have any of these in a functional state other than Kherson, and they just evacuated that because its in rocket artillery range.
mm... no? why would it sadden me?
what are you talking about?
no one here is rooting for the Russians. Nothing would make me happier than a coup in Russia ending with Putin on the gallows.
Or singled out for attack. One thing about an airdrop....you know there would be Russians about.
You can’t air drop fuel..
You can, but not very efficiently.

honestly, I wasn’t aware of that.
I am not a military person, I have no idea what is possible. I can sort of remember seeing videos of tanks being parachuted out of planes, and assumed (maybe wrongly) you could do the same with fuel tanks.
The parrots will still be sqwawking “propaganda” when we see Putin dead in the morgue.
An astute person once pointed out to me that when it comes to authoritarians government, the West always overestimate their capability but underestimate their determination.
I think the entire Ukrainian situation fits that analysis, everyone underestimated Putin’s determination to take all of Ukraine, and mostly dismissed the idea of him invading until it happened. But everyone also overestimate his strength, and assumed a quick victory which also did not happen.
Excellent points...
Russia has 900,000 active members in its military and two million reservists. I don't think it will have a problem with reinforcements.
Plus, one would be foolish to assume many of the troops dying around Kiev are anything but the JV team. Any causalities in that group aren't particularly significant from a military perspective.
Daily Mail propaganda is always good for a laugh.
Keep an eye out on temporarily-occupied Kherson.
Soon to become formerly-occupied Kherson...
Ukraine solders are fighting bravely for their country.
Daily Mail is better than Gateway Pundit.
Not those missiles - we’re sending or have sent some other variety on anti-ship missiles - I can’t find the reference at the moment. One of those could be the missiles that hit Orsk (BDK-69) apparently destroyed, Saratov (BDK-65) damaged, Novocherkassk (BDK-46) damaged, Caesar Kunikov (BDK-64) damaged.
Not sure what they used, but they attacked multiple ships. 1 destroyed and at least 2 damaged, though no report on how badly. The pier was empty yesterday, so analysts are speculating they were still loaded with armor. It could stop the Russians from using the port until they can eliminate the threat.
I loved both of them as well, but once I discovered Risk, there was no turning back.
