If that is a photo of the home in question, I don’t really see a problem!
Melrose Park is a nanny-state nightmare. It made it a crime for citizens to own a handgun within its borders.
Yes.
Here is a link with more details and photos. Sort of trashy but I’ve seen worse. One would think reasonable people could have resolved the thing in a more orderly fashion. Apparently not.

The mayor is obviously a raving libtard lunatic not unlike many others just like him in office and stepping on anybody they can 🤪
I read the entire story and he needs the crap beat out of him at the minimum
“Some might think this story is crazy, but Melrose Park is a mafia-connected town...”
Big time. But it had some great restaurants back in the day. Slicker Sam’s was great.
Wasn’t Melrose Park a TV show?
“That’s where we are. If you speak up to your Masters, they will crush you.”
I noticed on the TV shows my wife watches all the heroes are government employees. The Mayor needs a base-a-balla bat upside the head.
The liberal Democrats are not interested in helping these people because the Dems can’t have sex with the lawn chairs...oh wait....
That’s it! The trigger.
Just another of the countless everyday examples why the powers of government (any government) should be severely limited, and those who don’t stay strictly within those powers should be severely punished.
I think he needs a criminal complaint lodged against him under USC Title 18 Section 242.
Some key with that power is in the pocket of a developer or a flipper.
I don’t see anything ‘trashy’ about lawn chairs outside a home, especially when they’re used routinely - and especially given Covid. And this does not look like a ritzy, wealthy area.
In addition to being downright nasty, the town leadership seems to have pretensions far above its reality...
Somebody hates these people for some reason beyond their lawn chairs.
Oy vey.
The Mayor needs a base-a-balla bat upside the head.
Leave the bat. Take the cannoli.
The outfit respects elders.
If I were this elder couple, and any of the outfit is still around, I would reach out to them.
It would get settled -—very very fast.
“The outfit respects elders.”
That’s what I would have thought. But it ain’t what it used to be.
One useful fact that should please everyone on this board: the text run by Reason magazine and to which this post links is from a federal court opinion which, as you can see, comes down very hard on the head of this ridiculous mayor.
That opinion was written a federal judge Steven Seeger who is — gues what?! - a Donald’s Trump appointee.
And clearly a very good one.
