“I thought that was supposed to happen last week?”
So was the Russian capture of Kiev according to many Young Putineers on this forum.
“Are we better off if Russia occupies Ukraine today?”
“Are we better off if Russia exits Ukraine today with no territorial gains?”
Which of these serve us better? Because the only thing that matters is — America First.
Russia took over Crimea and it had zero effect on me as an American.
So the answer to the 2 questions are: if they can be accomplished with minimal US support of just money and weapons and no active US personnel involved in the fighting then - yes - that would serve us better.
If it takes full US military involvement with a couple of thousand dead American troops then the answer is NO.
I am way out in the woods on the “safe” side of prevailing winds....—but of course that would require the Russians to accurately hit their targets....
traditionally that was a flaw in their nuclear weapons program....
;-)
That’s what we need during a war, dopes like you.
Hush Neocon. This charade will be over soon.
Will we end up with Americans KIA courtesy of Russian forces - or maybe even some unanticipated event that causes the situation to 'go nuclear'? Heck, I don't know; but I'm old enough to remember Vietnam, which started with a handful of 'advisors', but killed over 50,000 Americans. And that would be a drop in the bucket, if we got into a shooting war with Russia, and it turns out our 'leaders' in DC aren't the geniuses they think they are...
The supplies were only supposed to last through last week
Russians suffering from frostbite, too.
Well, I heard about two weeks ago, that they have supplies for about two weeks. Now they have supplies for three days.
It is actually kind of consistent.
But explain it to a Russian troll!
All propaganda is propaganda. A nugget of truth, wrapped in a lie, is still a lie.
IE: Russian Forces halted their advance today, Ukrainian forces fought them to a standstill.
This could be entirely true, entirely false, or partially true and partially false.
The best propaganda usually has some nugget of truth to it, or at least has to sound like it does (plausible).
The real situation for the example sentence, could be “Russian Troops Halted their advance today”.... meanwhile, the reason may have had nothing to do with Ukrainian resistance... the rest of the factual information might be ... “Because they were waiting for their supply lines to catch up’.
I would just warn ANYONE about taking ANYTHING at face value out of either side of this... period.
And anyone who is touting that the Russia Military, which has over 3.5 Million active members, and another 3 Million more reserves, is in any way shape or form in danger of losing in Ukraine because Kiev hasn’t fallen in a month.
I have no doubt that Russia’s original plans were to expect light resistance and be in Kiev by now, however just because that didn’t go to plan, doesn’t mean that if they just hold out for a few more days suddenly the overall tied will turn.
Just understand everything you are hearing is what one side or the other, WANTS YOU TO HEAR.... not what actually is going on.
Ain't that the truth - and the Russian trolls have been at it for years! They messed with our election (7 years back, it was all over the newspapers), and they've been messing with our politics ever since! And now the Putin puffers are busy trying to hide the fact that Russia will invade Poland, Latvia, Estonia, etc., etc., etc., about 30 seconds after Ukraine surrenders! Putin is Hitler without the mustache, and if we don't put US boots on the ground in Ukraine, RIGHT NOW, the Ukes are dead meat & every surviving European on the continent will be speaking Russian before Christmas!\s
Too bad you no longer support President Trump.
“As long as the BIOLABS are destroyed.”
Mein Gott ! Are they still operational ?
rain thurs then cloudy, and april showers will keep them on the roads till the fields dry
KooKy Neocon.
Jack Posobiec, the one who’s married to a Belarus national?
Which is hard to understand, unless they are really short on gear.
It isn’t THAT cold compared to an Iowa winter. I can and have spent nights outside in similar weather. Sucks, and I planned for it, but very doable.

” ... some very prominent German military leaders knew the war was lost and had started pressing the government to seek terms ...”
The German military hierarchy wanted to negotiate a separate peace with the U.S. and the UK. However, Roosevelt, Churchill, and Stalin agreed at Yalta that the only acceptable “terms” were unconditional surrender on both fronts. Roosevelt and (especially) Churchill were, correctly, wary of Stalin’s intentions in Eastern Europe. Stalin’s big fear in 1944-45 was that the Western Allies would negotiate a separate peace.
