Without hearing more of the speech, I have a sense that Kamala is trying to point out that, given childhood’s brevity, we cannot delay this government project to ensure that kids get high-speed internet during that brief interlude. (That’s my guess.)

Richard Grenell, Trump’s former Acting Director of National Intelligence and former US Ambassador to Germany, knows Harris and has nothing good to say about her. I’ve cued the video so it goes straight to the Harris material but I actually recommend the whole thing. What Grenell has to say about Biden’s foreign policy, Antony Blinken’s qualifications, and Angela Merkel’s disastrous decisions (among other things) is worth hearing:

Now the Biden team needs someone added to the Supreme Court. They’ve considered her sex parts and her skin color, and they think Ketanji Brown Jackson is perfectly suited.

Good article & post. I know you had to SNIP for the fair use word limits but I was really struck by the writer’s candid statement in the second sentence of the article.
FTA: “Because she’s been propped up for her entire career, first by Willie Brown and then by a political establishment that valued her kneejerk leftism and needed her XX chromosomes and melanin load for the optics, Kamala has developed a decidedly inflated sense of her oratorical skills.”
I think the burning truth of this statement is making it clear to the Democrats that they have created a no-win situation where Biden will have to be gone sooner than the original scheme allowed and Plan B appears even more deluded, if that’s possible. The wheels are rapidly falling off in a public way (Hunter Biden indictment due any day) and their media friends have been utterly exposed as shills.

She is beyond dumb. She has skated through life on her knees and due to her skin tone. Poster child for Affirmative Action. But somehow she still manages to carry a condescending attitude even though she knows she is in over her head.
If they are scripted (and written by her staff), she is being set up to look like an idiot (which she is of course).
I don’t think Harris is on their team - she made it clear early on they were not going to “dump this mess on me”.....but then where does that leave her really? She’s winging it badly but perhaps this is on purpose....I really question why her performance is so bad.
Her oratorical skills lie along a different path.

How about we presume this is par for the course and only report when she has made an intelligent, coherent statement instead?
That would keep her out of the limelight indefinitely.
There are persistent rumors that she is notoriously difficult to work for. Perhaps her people are deliberately sabotaging her. Or maybe she’s just an idiot.

How true, attitude is everything they think masks the stupidity and when they are challenged they get in your face ready to beat you down.
Many tokens have a crushing inferiority complex, which is masked with bravado; she merely mimics things she has heard from others and is simply acting. The last high-profile token (Obama) would literally stop speaking if his teleprompter froze; couldn’t improvise/think on his own at all.
Both can be true.
The video just confirms the third reason she was chosen for VP. First reason; female, Second reason, “of color”, Third; In no way will she ever upstage or out shine POTUS. The same reason Joe was chosen for Odumbo.
