German patriots are persecuted and meanwhile, violent Mohammadans flood in from all over the turd world with the welcome mat rolled out for the rapeugees.
This is why Germany is not a serious country.

Got to admit the mental gymnastics here are a head scratcher.
Zelenskyy is a Nazi because he did nothing but enable Azov. Therefore the totally not-nazi-like razing of Mariupol is his fault not Azov’s or Russia’s.
But he’s also a Nazi because he’s banning dozens of political parties including a few that are ultranationalist, paramilitary, and use nazi/facist symbols, and are fans of anti Jew, anti Slav, or anti Russian ethnic purity.
Meanwhile Germany has banned the use of nazi and fascist symbolism for decades because it’s so ashamed of its past, but until recently thought that cracking down on nazi/fascist individual thoughtcrime was an infringement too far.
So, by the same new logic applied to Ukraine, Germany was pro nazi for not banning nazis/fascists, fascist for silencing nazis, and is now fascist and nazi for cancelling its known nazis.
Meanwhile, if a group of good ole boys in the USA were to decide to use nazi uniforms, when playing at being hard men, and supplemented that with a nice sideline in Aryan purity... No story there, individual freedom, no reason to ban it, freedom of speech, therefore none of it’s fascist or nazi. No way, no how, not ever. The only way to be fascist or nazi is to not infringe on their right to play dress up and have nazi/fascist entry criteria.
Which is exactly what Azov was, originally, before it went even more rabidly anti Russian.
So by this logic, Azov would’ve been a constitutionally protected militia if it had formed in the USA not Ukraine, it would’ve been fascist to shut them down before the Soviet incursion, unless they were already carrying out lynchings and beatings of other Americans for ideological reasons (because that’s illegal no matter who does it and why.)

Years back the then Minister for Finance, Wolfgang Schäuble, said basically the nation couldn't reduce its welfare costs for fear the people would riot. I suspect the politicians are becoming worried, given the heavy-handed Lauterbach's call for now mandatory Covid-19 injections for all adults. And all the while the disastrous Energiewende of Merkel is imposing huge energy cost hikes on the German populace. Many of our ex-neighbors, and none of them extreme in any way, there are expressing real anger at the government. At politicians.
I suspect there is more to this story than meets the eye.

I think the Alternative für Deutschland is frightening the other parties, particularly the pretend "center-right" because they are now successful enough to get and hold seats in the Bundestag, and their message begins to attract more voters. It has been generally anti-EU, enough as to frighten the ruling classes, and was mentioned in the AP article to smear it with the same brush as real extremists, of which there are few -- "1,500 suspected" as the AP writes -- within a population of about 84 million.
I agree that the AfD is mainstream from our American perspective, and that is the issue for the EU. Even at about 10 percent nationally, they are scaring the entrenched big government types. Greatly.

I went to East Ukraine every year until covid and I can tell you these people are absolutely no joke for them.
But here on FR I continually hear people totally dismissive of the seriousness of the situation.
People can say “they are a small percent of the population”, well guess what they comprise the main units around the eastern and southeastern provinces. Sorry for going there but the SS were a really small percent of the population too. Mariupol is Azov headquarters.
There is another dimension that isn’t talked about that is the reality the Ukrainian govt is fairly scared of these groups also. The possibility of a coup by them is not 0.
I’m not going to quibble about banning parties during wartime, but understand that roughly half of the population before 2014 voted the other way. A lot of those people don’t vote anymore, being part of Crimea, Donbas, Luhansk, or just giving up on the choices that aren’t banned. 700,000 Ukrainian citizens have chosen to apply for and receive Russian citizenship since 2019.
Yet the media talks about Ukraine as if they are uniformly of one mind. It is a huge lie

One last little tidbit. Russia is a sick country. The people want to submit, it is their burden that the desire. The Russia-Ukraine debacle id a a schwab-Soros-Gates et al ploy being run through Biden as a cover to get us to the next major crises scare. It doesn’t matter how many women, children, puppies, kittens, donkeys die in the Ukraine. We kill more that that every year in abortion clinics in the US.
They are stealing your jobs, children, houses, car, country, and future. When are you going to stop letting them jerk you around?
