If you add in MIA numbers, you might get within striking distance of Ukie figures.

That’s not a real KP website. I heard the MOD briefing and there is nothing like this. I swear I have never seen as much BS as with this “war” ever.

They’re admitting to 10,000 KIA.

It’s probably at least double that, at least, but let’s use their numbers.

It took them a decade to lose 15,000 in afcrapistan.

Probably. Because there is no reason to believe Putin’s allied media would admit to the 100%.

Actor boy alone killed 10,000 Russians with his bare hands.

I heard the Russians were losing 1,000 soldiers/day.
That’s a lot of angry parents, wives, siblings, etc.

Concur.

I know people here love to spout about fake news etc. But there is nothing fake about the hundreds photos and videos of all the blown out tanks in all the suburbs around Ukraine. Those photos are not staged in a studio (a la Capricorn One) or carefully edited propaganda a la TASS. A blown out tank means soldiers KIA, the Ukraine doesn’t give them a warning to evacuate any more than the Ruskies give warning to all the apartment residents that were blown to bits.

25k out of an invasion army of 100k is significant, there is no way getting around that. Sure you can shift more resources but then you leave yourself open elsewhere. And you can’t just conscript more soldiers into Kiev next week, they need months of training (and even then we see how well they perform).

Remember there has been fighting going on in those eastern provinces for 8 years so there is usually wreckage laying around. Be careful how you interpret wat you see.

That's D- level propaganda. Do you really think an armored vehicle or truck is still smoking or burning after a couple of years in the field? Do you think that the Russians fighting in the Donbass were also using the same identifying marks?

And try to explain to us how you can geolocate the images to places in Ukraine that are nowhere near the Donbass. Were the Russians driving tanks around in the middle of Ukraine 8 years ago?

Try harder, you are failing propaganda 101.

Guess I shouldn’t remind you that our own “actor boy”, Ronald Reagan was a superb President.

If the figures are correct, they indicate the catastrophic nature of the current Methods of warfare and maybe the poor state of Russian battlefield medical treatment. The figures indicate an approximate rate of one death per 1.7 wounded, where western casualties are almost always 1:3 or better - roughly half the survival rate of ours.

“you are failing propaganda 101.”
Or, more likely, he’s just didn’t think of everything and made a mistake.

Apparently, you are the only one that knows what’s really going on.

Perhaps you can enlighten us, as how to tell reality from fiction?

BTW, I have friends in Ukraine; in Luhansk, in Kyiv and also outside of Lviv.

I talk to them daily, by email.

Not all of that wreckage is smoking bubba. Have you ever heard of satellite image manipulation, psyops and information warfare? Seen lots of it. Remember Ukrainians have Russian equipment and theirs gets destroyed in combat too. It can be easy to pass their own equipment which was destroyed as Russian losses.

The color schemes are different indeed, and some vehicles are unique to either military. In some photos and videos the Ukrainian propaganda is fixing it by applying the color filters, making vehicles look darker and it is visible by unrealistic background. The most obvious example is a tractor towing a Tor AD, which is Ukrainian. There are SA-8s photos with filters applied to make them look Russian even though the type is pulled in Russia long time ago. You can still see the elements of pixel camo on some vehicles which is unique to Ukraine. Russia doesn’t use T-64, BMP-1, Gwozdika SPGs for decades as well. They don’t use cage armor against shaped charges.
