That’s not a real KP website. I heard the MOD briefing and there is nothing like this. I swear I have never seen as much BS as with this “war” ever.

RE #20: I don't need friends to know that the link is to a fake website which doesn't exist.

Given that:

I think that is enough evidence to conclude that Komsomolskaya Pravda, its website, the article in question, and all its archived copies, do, in fact, actually exist.

I thought you are supposed to tell us:
“there’s no truth in Pravda and no news in Izvestia”?

It’s the Internet Archive cached version of the article on the KP website. The original URL is right there at the top of the page, linked with the article still active.

KP wrote it and then scrubbed it. The internet archive serves cached versions of pages. Both KP and archive.today are real. You can also use the archive to bypass paywalls, try it some time.

The KP article on kp.ru as originally written was visible, I saw it when the story first came out.

It was either the writer burying at the end of an article praising Russia’s performance in their ‘special operation’ or it was a hack, but it was on kp.ru. The MOD hasn’t updated its casualty figures in weeks.
