Can Brian Kemp Make it to his Stacey Abrams Rematch?

But before he can square off against Abrams, Kemp has to overcome another obstacle: David Perdue, one of the Republican senators unseated by those runoffs, who has launched a Trump-fueled primary bid against the governor.

In ordinary times, Kemp would be a head-scratching target for a Republican primary insurgency. His first term has been defined by the sort of controversy-sparking fights that conservatives rally around: In 2019, Kemp backed and signed a heartbeat bill (later overturned in court) banning most abortions beyond six weeks, sticking to his guns despite widespread threats by actors and directors to boycott the state, a serious threat to Atlanta’s blockbuster entertainment industry. In April 2020, barely a month into the COVID-19 pandemic, he permitted nonessential businesses to reopen if they followed certain public health guidelines, a decision that brought a storm of criticism not only from Democrats but even from President Donald Trump, who suggested it was premature. And, last year, Kemp championed the passage of an election security bill, SB 202, that was pilloried even more savagely in the press, causing Major League Baseball to pull its annual All-Star Game out of the state.

Is something brewing??

The existence of this article indicates that that Kemp's 10 point lead in the last poll is shrinking, or wasn't really that broad at all.

Trump should never had said Abrams would be better than Kemp. He should check this vindictive streak.

What poll lead?

The only poll info I’m interested in is their internals, and nobody’s sharing.

We don’t really know what polling looks like.

RINOs were always so careful to hide who they really are.

Trump changed that.

Kemp and Raffensburger were content to let TWO Senate seats be stolen, handing control of the Senate to the Dems, if that's what it took to get rid of Trump. Any thorough investigation or audit of the Senate races would have revealed the same cheating methods that stole the election from Trump.

Worst of all, there was a county where EVERY SINGLE military mail-in ballot was for Biden. EVERY SINGLE ONE. No investigation. No nothing.

The lamestream media is working overtime to hide the fact that Trump voters are livid at the betrayal of the RINOs and payback is coming in the primaries.

If Kemp and Raffensburger win their respective primaries, then GA is lost forever. The Water Buffalo will be the next governor.

That latest poll was suspect.

Trump has a rally in Georgia coming up for Perdue.

This lifelong Republican voter will just sit out November 2022 if Kemp is the nominee. At least Abrams is honest about her plans to destroy everything.

Kemp is a weakling and a fraud

I thought that in late 2020 Kemp was so unpopular that he would not run again. Guess I was way off on my analysis. Incumbency still means a lot to GA people.

Perdue couldn’t beat Ossoff, I wonder why people think he can beat Abrams? We just returned from Disney World. Spent the night in Savannah with some friends before returning to Augusta. We came back from Savannah to Augusta via highway 21. Really then swung through Mill Haven Plantation and the town of Girard. They is a great BBQ place there. But I don’t think I saw one Perdue sign.

Enemies are certainly better than traitors. Traitors can do far more damage.

Why would you draw a conclusion (that Perdue couldn't beat Ossoff) for a state with clearly rigged elections? For all we know Perdue beat the crap out of Ossoff, but then they pulled another ballot stuffing fraud.

Kemp is a crook. He and his secretary of state installed the crooked voting machines and voting regulations including the vote by mail and vote harvesting along with the crooked counting of the votes.. This lead to the illegal installation of Biden and two democrat senators. This is a major reason the US is in the situation we are in today.

GEORGIA MUST PUT PURDUE IN THE GOVERNORS HOUSE AND HERSCHEL WALKER IN THE SENATE. GEORGIA MUSE HAVE FAIR AND HONEST ELECTIONS THIS TIME THAT REFLECTS THE WILL OF ALL THE GEORGIA PEOPLE, NOT JUST ABRAMS AND CROOKED FULTON COUNTY BLACKS.

Georgia has open primaries. Abrams is running unopposed. I think Democrats are going to go in and vote Perdue to oust Kemp so Abrams can clean up on Perdue. Trump in his revenge lust is screwing Georgia. Perdue couldn’t beat Ossoff why do folks think he can beat Abrams? If there is a large over vote in the primary who ever wins s the weaker candidate for Abrams.

Abrams is gonna walk over Kemp. The demographics of the south has sped up the destruction of it. Carpetbaggers and the rest are marching forward.

“Perdue couldn’t beat Ossoff why do folks think he can beat Abrams?”

That’s a nice talking point and I’ve heard it from Eric Erickson, etc.

But Perdue DID beat Ossoff. He was above 51% on election night and they massaged the vote down to under 50% so there’d be a runoff, with Kemp and Raffensperger’s help or do-nothingness.

If Perdue wins say hi to Stacy Abrams our next Governor. You guys crack me up. How many 2020 elections were overturned due to fraud? Name one? You seem to think Kemp could ride in with guns blazing etc. and over turn the election. Stacy Abrams is unopposed. Who ever wins the primary , if Perdue stays in, and there is over voting in the Republican primary that is the candidate Abrams views as weaker. Georgia has open primaries. If that happens then it will be Romney vs Obama.
