A few hours after sharply criticizing the government's policy in a speech to MKs Zelensky, he said that there could be talks between Russia and Ukraine in Israel. "We are grateful for the mediation efforts. Jerusalem? The right place to make peace," he said in a speech posted on the Telegram. At the same time, in Kiev rejected the Russian ultimatum to surrender to Mariupol: "We will not lay down our arms." Killed in a shelling of a shopping center and houses in the Ukrainian capital.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said tonight (Sunday to Monday), hours after his critical speech to Knesset members, that he "appreciates Prime Minister Bennett's efforts." In the nightly speech he posted on his telegram account, Zalansky said he understood the policy in which Israel operates. "Of course she has her own interests, to protect her citizens. We understand all this. Bennett is trying to find a way to hold talks in Jerusalem and we are grateful for that," he said.
He said, "Sooner or later we will start talks with Russia, perhaps in Jerusalem. This is the right place to make peace - and it is possible." He made the remarks only a few hours after his aggressive speech to more than 100 MKs and ministers in which he lashed out at Israel for not doing enough to help Ukraine. "Indifference kills," he said, "mediation without choosing a side? It is possible to mediate between countries but not between good and evil." He spoke for about 15 minutes during which he compared Russia's actions these days to the Nazi regime in Germany, which provoked sharp criticism, especially among right-wing parties in Israel, including members of the government.
We see your agenda. Angelina’s. You’re not pro America
He is out of options
Because the context of this thread is Ukraine, and both are part of the same period in Ukrainian history.

This back-and-forth between Russians and people living in what is now Ukraine has been going on for over 400 years!
From the Tsars Ukrainians were forbidden to teach, publish or even preach in the Ukrainian language. Russia never wanted to permit another culture to grow up next door, they never wanted anything more than a Little Russia they could keep in their orbit; like a small yappy dog pet.
Well, the “yappy dog” grew large, and grew TEETH, and — since the wall went down in Berlin, and the USSR crumbled — it isn’t inclined to play the role that The Kremlin had laid out for it.
And I don’t believe that pointing that out is either pro- or anti- American; it just IS.
The Abraham accords will have to continue without Trump.
Communist terrorist Obama worshipping State department head on fire, no more chaos in the world…. All are behaving as adults except us now…
Israel won’t make it through the realignment that was initiated by Zelensky and friends.
If you want to visit a non-radioactive, non-Islamic Israel... do it now. Last chance.
You have him pegged- during his spiel to congress with heart-string-edited video, he also made a statement about we should worry more abut his freedom than our pocketbooks...he is a master manipulator.
Who said Putin reached out to Syria? The media?
Russia did not deny it.
You ain’t too up on world history, are ya?
Long before the Jewish holocaust, there was the Holodomor - something on the order of 7-11 million Ukrainians purposely starved to death by those lovely Russian “Christians” you’re so enamored with. Did you convienietly forget that Hitler INVADED Ukraine and occupied it? Yeah, I’m sure that was just an oversight on your part.
The parties Zelenske banned were pro-Russian, and several of them national socialists - you know, “nazis.” Yeah, you ommitted tht pertinent fact too.
I guess your not biased, much.
