Ukraine rejects Russia’s demand to surrender the besieged city of Mariupol.

Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, tells Russia that Ukraine will not surrender the city.

“There can be no talk about surrender and laying down weapons,” she says.

“We have already informed the Russian side about this,” she says.

Here comes a nuke... a “tactical” nuke.

IMHO, I think Putin wants to show the West that he is unafraid to use them... before, he invades the Balkans.

There is no longer a steel works in Mariupol. It’s been destroyed by the invaders.

“I always root for America. Ukraine isn’t America.”

Or in America’s interest. Ukraine is FAR MORE IMPORTANT to the Bidens and the Deep State.

Maybe so. That said, they could have done much more damage to Ukraine if they wanted to. They still have internet, TV, heat. I don’t think we left Iraquis with that when we did shock and awe.

No...the Azov Nazis would not agree to that. Many vids of Mariupol residents claiming Azov won’t let them leave and keeping them as human shields

“The Ukrainian government could have saved a lot of lives if it had simply said they would never join NATO.”

Oh, bullsh!t. NATO was never a serious issue for Putin; it was just an excuse. Had Putin been serious about no NATO countries on Russia’s borders he would have attacked NATO years ago. Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia all share a border with Russia; and if Putin takes Ukraine you can add three more to that number: Slovak Republic, Hungary, and Romania. Putin has no fear of NATO.

Commandancy of the The Alamo

Bejar, Feby. 24th. 1836

To the People of Texas & All Americans in the World-

Fellow Citizens & compatriots-

I am besieged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna - I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man - The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken - I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls - I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch - The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country - Victory or Death.

William Barret Travis.

I don't know if you guys know this, but MacArthur declared Manila an open city at the outset of WWII.

It remained intact until he retook it later in the war. The Japanese were not as civilized as General MacArthur.

The Neo-Nazi’s probably made that decision. Mariupol’s their home base.

LOL. You’re rooting hard for enemies of America: Putinist Russia and their allies Death to America Iran and the Chicoms. The price of weakness is always paid in blood. Be careful what you wish for.

It’s Putin who’s deporting the population of Mariupol to concentration camps back in Russia.

“I think Putin wants to show the West that he is unafraid to use them... before, he invades the Balkans.”

Look at a map: He’ll have to go through NATO to get to the Balkans.

I know of someone, an Israeli reservist and Ukrainian Jew, who died alongside the “Nazi” LARP’ers during the back-and-forth fighting in the region in 2015. It’s got to be hellish for the Ukies in Mariupol right now. I hope Zelensky’s people have figured out a way to either spirit these people out or destroy the Russian formations attacking the city. Alamos are heroic and an inspiration, but it’s better to have live veterans to impart their knowledge to the newbies. And their kin would obviously love to see their men come out alive, whatever their condition.
