Russian missiles hit area near airport in Ukraine's Lviv, mayor says
Russian missiles struck an area near the airport of Ukraine's western city of Lviv on Friday, its mayor Andriy Sadovy said, though he added that the airport itself had not been attacked.
Authorities are assessing the situation and will issue updates, he said.
Earlier, television station Ukraine 24 said at least three exposions had been heard in the city.

There is an aircraft repair plant, dealing in Mig-29 upgrades internationally.
According to morning TV, there were 6 missiles fired by Russian planes over the Black Sea. Two of the missiles were intercepted and destroyed.
A message to the Ukies, Poland and Biden. Send those outdated MIGs and it won’t be long before we put them out of their misery with missiles while they’re sleeping. Better to send drones and surface to air doodads than antique flying machines to slay this dragon.
Actually, the MiGs are indeed capable aircraft and not quite antiques - but the problem they have is that while they went in for air superiority and ground attack, they didn’t actually have any SEAD aircraft, nor did they really train for the role as far as I can tell.
