They show up (now often not thanks to remote), do some stuff and get a paycheck periodically without putting any of their own money into the company.

Let’s not forget the windfall that some states - like Michigan - are reaping with the SALES TAX they are raking in at higher prices. The per-gallon tax amount remains the same for 10 gallons at any price, but the sales tax paid on $50 is more than it is on $35.
I don’t see any of our Michigan lawmakers stepping up to the plate to address that. Nor do I expect to…
I am waiting for price controls and long lines of cars idling in lines at the pumps and burning much more gas.

Called my bank today and in conversation the woman said she pulled most of her money out of her accounts except needed to pay monthly bills - bought a home safe instead. She said she didn’t like seeing Biden going after peoples bank accounts etc. with the truckers and then Sanctions.
Gas stations make pennies on the dollar on actual gasoline - they survive on convenience items in the physical store.
Government, though, rakes in money for doing nothing. Absolutely nothing.
retailers are ALWAYS blamed when failed socialist policies result in shortages and skyrocketing prices ...
“Step up” and give them the bum’s rush, and don’t make it so easy for them to just get up and brush themselves off.
