Respectfully, according to who?
Joe Biden.
Hi
According to the following sources:
1. Russian RTV television - read what they report. It’s biased of course, but even with the bias, no fanfare of wins
2. Ukrainian news - it’s biased as well, so take this and the previous with a pinch of salt
3. Telegram channels - both Russian and Ukrainian. This gives a truer picture on the ground, but it is disjointed
I wrote “His army has suffered losses, his troop morale is sub-zero and he’s not yet gained Mariupol, leave alone Kyiv, despite having massive advantages.”
“Losses” — even RTV and Russian official news has given 500 dead and 1600 wounded. Those are definitely under-reported. IT’s not the 10K that Ukrainians report, but the number is in-between. Even on the lower end, these are not what the Russian public is willing to spend on a war with Ukraine. a war in the Caucasus or against the west, maybe, but with Ukraine NO.
“troop morale is sub-zero” — Telegram channels. And more importantly there are no “soldiers cheering Putin” on RTV. They can’t get them
“not yet gained Mariupol, leave alone Kyiv, despite having massive advantages.”
- this is freely known even on Russian state TV. Mariupol has not fallen yet.
“The Russian army does not have its heart in it”
- that’s an inference based on the lack of “soldiers cheering” information on RTV - while they had a lot of this in the war in Syria.
