It's the Liberal’s Summer of Love.
What's the problem?
Democrat Held Territory = No Go Zone
Seattle was a great family Vacation destination I guess that too is in the past. San Juan Islands whale watching, Pike Market, Space Neddle, Boeing Tour etc. Now I wouldn’t be caught dead in Seattle.
Typical Demtown.
Excellent! Goodbye Tax Base, Seattle!
Every business owner that is either Conservative or a yet-to-be ‘woke’ Socialist Democrat NEEDS to do this!
Remember 0bama scolding us with his, ‘You didn’t build that!’
BS?
Well, Seattle Overlords? YOU built this! Embrace the suck!
“Now I wouldn’t be caught dead in Seattle.”
Actually, you could easily be! ;)
Where are you re-locating (maybe my quick scan missed it)? A few miles away or say, Texas?
Who is responsible for the high crime rate, including homicides, shootings, carjackings and burglaries that have been reported near the office? Are law enforcement and appropriate bail amounts and keeping felons in prisons actually good things?
If drugs, specifically fentanyl, are driving the crime rates, why is that happening, and who is responsible?
Do you support Mister Biden's insecure border?
Maybe it’s a good thing they never opened that New York office.
If nothing else, it definitely put AOC front and center in the national news.
RE: Maybe it’s a good thing they never opened that New York office.
You mean Amazon has to thank AOC for killing their plan?
Are any of those non-bail crimes nowadays?
Shoot, sounds like prejudice to me.
Amazon gets rich there, hires a bunch of wokesters who vote for progressive Democrats and Amazon uses its money to help. The progressive Democrats destroy the city. Amazon leaves to do the same to their next city. And nobody seems to notice that they are jackals.
“Amazon leaves to do the same to their next city. And nobody seems to notice that they are jackals.”
Makes absolute sense to me. I sold books on Amazon for 15 years. I quit at the beginning of the pandemic. First of all, I couldn’t get out to buy inventory, and secondly, they chose THAT time to raise our fees all across the board!
I worked hard at that extra income stream for a good long time. Had loyal clientele, and all they could do is take more and more and more. Screw that!
That said, one of our small towns in the area is fighting tooth and nail to keep Amazon from building a distribution center on the outskirts of their town.
Most likely for the very reasons you stated. Not ALL ‘business’ is necessarily ‘Good Business’ for a small town.
Went for a long weekend in the Summer about 15 years ago for a frequent flyer mileage run. Even back then, the little pocket park near Pike Place Market was full of urban outdoorsmen, and we were told not to walk back to our Puget Sound-facing Marriott after dark/dinner from a restaurant about a 15 or 20 minute walk away.
Seattle had bad areas (much worse now), but Detroit was the worst city I have ever been in. I had a tech conference that was held in Detroit one year, and I was scared to even walk out of the hotel. (Side note, I am from south Louisiana and been to New Orleans many times....not even close to Detroit).
Yikes!
While I have never been to downtown Detoilet (though have flown in and out of DTW enough to know of the stoner tunnel between concourses), I am at least somewhat familiar with NOLA, and have a Stetson from Meyer the Hatter to prove it.
Putin’s fault.
Probably Bellevue. Still quite close to Seattle.
It's preferable to killing their employees.
