WARSAW, March 15 (Reuters) - An international peacekeeping mission should be sent to operate in Ukraine, the leader of Poland's ruling party said on Tuesday during a press conference in Kyiv alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
"I think that it is necessary to have a peace mission - NATO, possibly some wider international structure - but a mission that will be able to defend itself, which will operate on Ukrainian territory," Jaroslaw Kaczynski said during the conference, which was broadcast on Polish television.

Well yeh. I just meant it in a geographic sense. Certainly no blame on Poles, if thats the way it was taken. My children are half polish and i love poland
The Russians don’t care about Lemberg.
I’ll try to find a German who cares.
“I speculated when this started you could see Polish troops in Lwów before this was over.”
Well, Lwow used to be part of Poland. That being said, I would hope this war does not spread.
The coolest thing about this war - it’s the first one where only one side is having it’s military personnel killed and it’s war making machinery destroyed!
Well, at least that’s what the government tells us, anyway...
When Hitler took power, he actually thought Poland could be an ally against the Soviets, he greatly admired Piłsudski.
When Poland allied with Britain and France, Hitler felt betrayed to the point where he only wanted to smash Poland and eradicate the Polish race as a whole.
“Hard to see that at this point with NATO. Maybe some other entity that is trusted by both sides, possibly Israel (of they can spare the men) or Israel or Turkey.”
Turkey is NATO.
“Putin knows he needs to end this quickly if he wants to survive at home.”
—
Yes, I mean what with Moscow being surrounded as the Ukraine force wreak massive destruction on his home turf, he has to act quickly!
I’ve been saying, that Turkey is manouvering to be the ones to take the most advantage of a weakened Russia, to fulfill their ambition of rebuilding The Ottoman Empire.
The government didn’t tell us any such nonsense.
But too bad for your favored invader of a peaceful country defending itself.
“Turkey is NATO.”
True, I was only throwing out examples of countries on good terms with both sides. Obviously if both sides agree, the weapons that the ‘peacekeepers’ will be allowed will be quite limited.
Don’t do it. NATO will throw Poland under the bus.
“Poles and Germans put on blue helmets.”

Having brought disaster on themselves with 1 & 2, I can’t imagine their people are jones-in to get WW3 a-going.
Pils rejected bolshie overtures even when some wanted closer ties with commies. A neutral poland seemed to be his caper. Now poland has hitched it’s wagon to EU and Nato. Who know’s it’s fate
“I’ve been saying, that Turkey is manouvering to be the ones to take the most advantage of a weakened Russia, to fulfill their ambition of rebuilding The Ottoman Empire.”
Well, Crimea used to be Turkish, so there’s that.
What job do you want the Russians to finish?
Almost every Russian citizen from the poorest to the richest is getting financially raped by Vlad’s megalomaniac stunt. He is a dead man walking in Russia. I want to see him swinging by piano wire in Red Square before the cancer gets him.
Damned idiot. They aren’t peacekeepers. They are players on one side, not peacekeepers. These backwards east Europeans will find a way to drag un into a world war because of their being slaves to their ethic and national hatreds. This is why placed like Poland should have never have been allowed in.
They can reformulate the 12th Galicia Division again. That’s the mentality of that area anyway.
“a peaceful country defending itself.”
—
According to your belief (and govt censors) the peaceful country has suffered nothing adverse military; zero losses of men or machinery.
So you have to say it’s working just fine for them so far! Total victory over the Russians is near at hand!
I know I’m looking forward to Z leading the victory parade in Moscow, as he brings the Ukrainian lberty, freedom, harmony, free speech, and understanding to the Kremlin.
(He might wanna leave the Ukraine’s neo-Nazi military’s marching bands in Ukraine, though. Some Russians are still touching about that Hitler thing. Fortunately Z plays keyboard, so there will be music!)
