Putin's forces may only be able to keep up the fight for another 14 days, defence sources say as increasingly-desperate invaders launch more devastating strikes on Kyiv this morning

Russian forces may only be able to sustain full fighting capacity for another 'ten to 14' days, senior UK defence sources indicated last night, after which Putin's men will struggle to hold the ground they have already captured from Ukrainian troops.

UK defence sources say that Kyiv has Moscow 'on the run' and the Russian army could be just two weeks from 'culmination point' - after which 'the strength of Ukraine's resistance should become greater than Russia's attacking force.' Advances across Ukraine have already stopped as Moscow's manpower runs short.

-snip-

as Russia's invasion falters, its methods become more brutal - with cities increasingly coming under indiscriminate rocket fire. Kyiv, the capital, suffered another round of bombing on Tuesday morning as apartment blocks were set on fire by early-hours strikes, though there was no immediate figure on casualties.

Ukraine's military said four Russian helicopters, a jet, and a cruise missile were shot down by its forces which remained in control of all major cities - including the badly-hit southern port of Mariupol.

Putin's stuttering invasion has forced even his close allies to admit, publicly, that things are not going to plan.

where the US supposedly had a supportive relationship.

What the hell does that mean? Where did Hunter get his million dollar pay out? Where did Biden use a 1 billion bribe to get a prosecutor fired? Ukraine is one of the most corrupt counties in the world.

Screw the government of the Ukraine. Help the people if possible but the gov there is on their own.

Daily Mail is probably the biggest pro-war cheerleader I’ve seen in all the news outlets. And that’s saying a lot.

I won’t even look at their “war reporting” anymore, it’s so biased.

The longer it goes, the better deal Russia gets.

Not really. More dead Russians outside Kiev.

We retaliated for them training 19 @$$#0/es who killed 3000 innocent civilians.

So all the civilians we killed in Iraq invaded Kuwait? Or all the civilians we killed in Afghanistan killed Americans on 9/11? You are not even capable of seeing Russia's point of view, you just drink whatever cool-aid you are served.

“I don’t think there is a clear good guy or a clear bad guy in all this.
***Russia invaded Ukraine. Pretty clear to me.”

I like your logic, for it does make sense.

But by the same token: The US invaded Afghanistan under the pretense that somehow or another that government aided in the 911 attack when in fact other Arab countries were more involved. At the same time Iraq was invaded under the pretense of WMD’s when it was known such WMD’s, if any at all, were removed shortly after the first sand box war.

Hopefully, that one should be clear too.

The question to me is, is Russia’s making misery on the Ukrainian people any more valid than the misery made upon the Afghan and Iraq people?

What other countries do you think should be invaded for being too pro-American?

Poland, Taiwan, Australia?

When the Arabs next try to invade Israel are you going to say “good job Israel is just an American puppet state?”

The longer this draws out, the further along the Ukrainian nuke project goes on. Eventually they’ll have a couple or few nukes, drive a suitcase nuke up into Russia and then blow the hell out of a Russian column on Russian soil.

That’s when they’ll say, “Sorry, we weren’t in a position to warn you about our nuke capability but we are now. We expect every single Russian soldier to leave his post without any sabotage, and surrender to the nearest blue helmet NATO peacekeeper for the long bicycle ride home. Every Russian weapon on Ukrainian soil that is sabotaged will cost one Russian soldier his life or freedom for the next decade. “

The Ukes are in an existential war. When we were in our own existential war, we dropped a couple nukes to end it. So who are we to scold THEM about dropping nukes on Russians, especially since we sold them down the river with the Budapest Agreement?

“Comments like these make it easy to smoke out the leftists pretending to be conservatives...How is a country being too pro-America a problem? It is only a problem for leftists who hate the USA and want us to fail.”

Yes, the Leftist anti Americans are called LiberalTarians. They are too the Left of Biden.

Well if your definition of pro-American is hosting American corruption, then I say all of them.

But by the same token: The US invaded Afghanistan under the pretense that somehow or another that government aided in the 911 attack when in fact other Arab countries were more involved.
***Yup. And we routed the taleban within about 6 weeks. That’s when we shoulda left, following my emBASEee strategee https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/4043681/posts

At the same time Iraq was invaded under the pretense of WMD’s when it was known such WMD’s,
***Oh, so you’re talking about GulfWar2, not GulfWar1. The whole thing was started by Hussein invading Kuwait, so the consequences fall on him. In my view, we should have gone in and found Hussein, and gave him the Noriega Treatment in GW1. There would never have been a GW2, just like the lessons we learned from WW1 which caused WW2.

if any at all, were removed shortly after the first sand box war.
***Let’s say that Hussein DID remove those WMDs [I don’t buy it that he did, but let’s say he did]. He would be the dumbest dictator ever to have lived by not allowing in the UN inspectors. Gigantic duhh factor. He lost his own life over how stupid that move was.

Hopefully, that one should be clear too.
***I’m pretty sure that Trump was bombing chemical weapons in Syria that Saddam Hussein had delivered to his cousin Hussein who was running Syria at the time. But I can’t prove it.

The question to me is, is Russia’s making misery on the Ukrainian people any more valid than the misery made upon the Afghan and Iraq people?
***You’re really trying hard to draw an equivalence here, but there is no equivalence to be made. Iraq invaded Kuwait, so they incurred their own demise. Afghanistan, well maybe there’s sumthin there to draw an equivalence but they DID send those 19 @$$#0/es to kill 3000 innocent civilians so the taliban deserved to have us knock them around. The problem was that we STAYED and tried that stupid Nation-Building thing that the State Department loves so much but NEVER works. Again, emBASEee strategee https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/4043681/posts

So all the civilians we killed in Iraq invaded Kuwait?
***Did I SAY that? NO! Classic straw argument.

Or all the civilians we killed in Afghanistan killed Americans on 9/11?
***Nope. Just the taleban and bin-laden supporters. We rousted most of them within 6 weeks or so. Again, my emBASEeee strategee woulda been the right thing to do
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/4043681/posts

You are not even capable of seeing Russia’s point of view,
***I see their point of view. I simply disagree with it. It’s like seeing Hitler’s point of view, as vile as it was. I disagreed with that one, too. And there’s plenty of learnings about appeasement from one to the other that folks like you are unwilling and incapable to see.

you just drink whatever cool-aid you are served.
***I’m saying that about you. So we should throw down, point by point. OR are you denying that Russia DID invade Ukraine?
