A pregnant woman and her baby have died after Russia bombed the maternity hospital where she was meant to give birth, The Associated Press has learned. Images of the woman being rushed to an ambulance on a stretcher had circled the world, epitomizing the horror of an attack on humanity’s most innocent.
The woman was rushed to another hospital, yet closer to the frontline, where doctors labored to keep her alive. Realizing she was losing her baby, medics said, she cried out to them, “Kill me now!”
Surgeon Timur Marin found the woman’s pelvis crushed and hip detached. Medics delivered the baby via cesarean section, but it showed “no signs of life,” the surgeon said.
Then, they focused on the mother.
“More than 30 minutes of resuscitation of the mother didn’t produce results,” Marin said Saturday.

I think this an apt observation. The verifiable news on any side -- I think there more than two, by the way -- in this war (police action, as we recall how war was sometimes called by our media) is little.
And given a nation that tolerates millions of dead through elective and state-funded abortions, the Associated Press "agony" over a dead "madonna and child" is the kind of message meant to appear as news, but in fact is a message placed with a purpose.
A casualty of this war on Ukraine, or neo-Nazis in Ukraine, or drugs, or Covid, or equity, or poverty or.... is the media itself. And the wounds are self-inflicted.
To summarize: "We don't know what truly happened." That includes us all.

It’s strange there is not one bit of debris from the interior of these hospital rooms. No sheets, tables mattresses. That stuff seems like it would be everywhere. The rooms are empty shells.
Notice the red sheet or blanket draped over the stretcher in the middle of the shot to highlight the woman in an all colorless pic.

The very first question that comes to mind... How close were the intended targets of the bombing to said maternity ward??
From the ground photos/imagery, notice the L shaped, (or slmetimes H with legs cut off) layout of structures, which create a courtyard -
In a courtyard or boxed penetrator blast, the courtyard (box or L shape) creates a blast/shockwave tunnel effect-
*From the photo/imagery/footage of the “hospital”, this is a typical Soviet style hospital school layout, or at times a hospital layout with courtyard.
In Western Russia, these Soviet Army built structures are almost always prefabricated, light steal reinforced/weld assembled structures, typically 2 to 4, and up to 6 floors.
Sometimes the Soviet era school layouts have been repurposed to sanitarium’s and other medical type facilities. (I have also stayed in them)

From the deep crater in the courtyard imagery, there are a number of munitions which are possible. However, based on the depth of the crater (at least 5m to 7m), and the volume of earth blown out of the crater (possibly 15m to 20m diam), the following could have been used -
BetAB-500 (1000lb rocket propelled or air dropped, used extensively in Syria from 2014-2015)
KAB-500L (L-guide similar to US PaveWay)
KAB-1500Lpr (L-guide deep penetrator)
Kh-59MKM/s (280km range missile deep penetrator - expensive)

There are other bombs in the arsenal, but if I were to build a BDA brief on this target, I would state “Possible” Russian 1000 lb BETAB-500, or KAB-500L, based on depth + diameter, and volume of earth displaced.
As well, the large blast just inside (or adjacent to) the courtyard would have blown all windows and doors outward from the blast crater, easily leaving no visible windows or doors. As well, any blast capable of that crater, would easily wipe out or buried landscape.
We can literally see trees completely stripped to their trunks, and the blast crater easily and significantly blew out an entire tree stump.
This was typically what analysts saw across Russian targeted structures and blocks of cities throughout cities in Syria, Chechnya, Georgia, and even Libya.
Be a little weird to see soft remaining inward debris from a very large outward blast, which left only lower trunks of sizable trees.
As well, imagery from above shows the roofs were nearly blown out as well.

From the “airbreather” imagery above, the roof of the L shaped structures were nearly blown off.
The woman in the picture is a famous Ukrainian beauty products model. This is a fake. There’s another sad pic of her walking out of the hospital with blood on her face except the hospital isn’t damaged.
The baby died also, the medics on scene did a c-section but the baby was dead.
The Mother suffered extensive pelvis and lower extremities injuries.
I believe nothing from either crooked shithole.
