Growing suspicion about the security of voting systems has kindled a back-to-the future moment among conservatives in some parts of the U.S.
Republican lawmakers in at least six states have introduced legislation that would require all election ballots to be counted by hand instead of electronic tabulators. Similar proposals have been floated within some local governments, including about a dozen New Hampshire towns and Washoe County in the presidential battleground state of Nevada.
The push for hand-counting ballots comes amid mistrust of elections among many Republicans who believe the false narrative that widespread fraud cost former President Donald Trump reelection in the 2020 presidential contest. Despite no evidence of widespread fraud or major irregularities, conspiracy theories have proliferated among his allies that voting systems were somehow manipulated to favor Democrat Joe Biden. That has prompted calls to ban electronic tabulators used to scan ballots, record votes and compile race tallies.
“It’s our responsibility, and it should be our desire, to count every vote and to imbue confidence in our citizenry that our elections are fair and free, and that their vote is being counted,” said New Hampshire state Rep. Mark Alliegro, sponsor of a hand-counting bill that is similar to ones proposed in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Washington and West Virginia.

The machine is no more honest or corrupt as the person inputting the information.
Ruby Freeman, her daughter and the guy were alone and caught on video running the same ballots through the machine over and over. Never even asked about it.
Oh wait, she got a lawyer. So what? Make her come in and say, under oath, that she’s taking the 5th Amendment. Then show her the video and advise her of her rights under Miranda, as you put handcuffs on her and her daughter.
I can damn near guarantee that would look to her Dem provided lawyer, asking why she’s being locked up, start screaming that they told her nothing would happen to her. Then she’d start talking.
But nope.
Personally, I'm not sure who won, since the apparent fraud was also accompanied by Dumb-O-Crat plausible deniability maneuvers, such as media gaslighting (see above). But if "My"Panhandle is gonna pimp that stuff, they can get RTF outta Florida.
The first step is to vote out every RINO who must face a primary this year and replace them with constitutional patriots, especially in the state legislatures.
The Democrats could not have stolen anything were it not for RINO-controlled state legislatures that refused to enforce voter ID and folded like a cheap tent when it came to allowing the cheat-by-mail-ballots because of the scamdemic.
No more RINOs = No more stolen elections.

Hand counting? Machine counting? It depends on who does the counting.
Every time they feel they absolutely must use the qualifier “Despite no evidence” just makes me believe in fraud and coverup even more
Paper ballots and purple fingers—vote on election day or not at all. Keep it simple, secure, and transparent.
And we all now know full well that it depends on who’s hands do the counting.
Democrats can’t count.

In person sign in Ez touch screen interface, laser printer gives you sheet, if not correct you shred and repeat, then put in secure box while pollmaster watches.
Machine can count, but there is paper trail for recounts too

On presidential elections we should pick up a weighted stone/disk/coin and toss it into a basket to be weighed on an on-going basis. When poles close we know who won.
Yes, I’m a fan of paper and ‘purple fingers’.
But it still all depends on who COUNTS the votes.
