We have electricity, gas, water, the communal services are working," said Oleksandr Yakovlev, mayor of Skadovsk. "People and volunteers have organized themselves into associations to prevent looting. We can only contact the central state power authorities by phone. But how can they help us now?". "There are big problems with logistics. People can't pick up their pensions at the post office, because no money has been delivered." Skadovsk is located some 30 kilometers (about 18 miles) from the administrative border with Russian-occupied Crimea, and 100 kilometers from Kherson. Unlike other parts of the country, Skadovsk hasn't really seen any fighting. It was besieged in the first hours after the initial attack on February 24 by Russian troops, who immediately set up checkpoints everywhere, said Yakovlev. "People are being let through, but their cars and identity papers are checked. Civilian vehicles have also come under fire, and there have been victims. Yesterday, they shot at an ambulance, but there were no casualties," said the mayor. On the morning of March 9, Russian armored vehicles drove directly into the city and positioned themselves in front of the city hall, but did nothing else. 'There is no one to talk to' Both mayors said they hadn't been contacted by the Russian military, which had not made any demands. They suspected that the soldiers themselves did not know what to do with the occupied territories. In any case, said the mayors, the Russian troops had not been received with flowers by the locals, as Russia's top leaders had expected. Volodymyr Kovalenko, the mayor of Nova Kakhovka, has set up a temporary office in a municipal utility building because the town hall has been occupied by the Russians, who are using it as their headquarters. Kovalenko said they had appointed an administrator, and imposed a curfew.
“Are you denying that’s currently happening in Mariupol?”
Not there, so don’t know, other than it would look like Aleppo does now, if Putin wanted it to, and my understanding is that it’s nowhere near that bad, at this point.
But we’re still waiting for you to answer my question about what happened last year?
Why won’t you answer.
Sounds like a good reason to get involved in WW-III.

There are photos of mass devastation and people tossing bodies into mass graves. Maybe you should follow the news no a basic level so you can see this too, rather than relying on Russian blogs.
But we’re still waiting for you to answer my question about what happened last year?
I did answer, but you replied that you didn't take my answer seriously, repeated your question again, repeated it a third time, and now you are asking me about it in a different thread, as if my answer did not demolish your nonsense in the first place.
Is there something wrong with you? Is your brain all busted up?
Thank you for this post. Just awful. It should be its own thread.
I like how you hypocritically pretend to be so righteous and against war, and yet you’ve been cheering on the Russians since 2014.
It will be wonderful to see you fall when the Ukrainians pull off the impossible and beat your masters on the ground, which appears to already be happening even despite all the horrors being committed by Russia.
How about pointing us to the link where you claim to answer my question about the threat Ukraine made last year?
Russian troll, go f*** yourself!
This seems to be the best answer to you at this point.
” Russian troll, go f*** yourself! This seems to be the best answer to you at this point.”
You seem rather emotional at this point and will not point me to your claimed answer regarding the THREAT Ukraine made last year.
Like me, you may have grown up in the shadow of a ‘damaged’ father. Being young I never understood his the things he did, like treating the home like a bunker, hitting the bottle, being almost hermetical at times. always on edge. I now realise he had severe PTSD.Most returning soldiers were never helped with. Just turned loose back into civvie life. Despite all, he was a loving, fair dad and what I am today I owe to him.Lest We Forget
Please feel free to circulate/pass this along...
I have lost contact —
Nof what we see from mass media, but my guys at the abc’s basically communicated poc’s at Biden’s State Department, and NSC really didn’t care (or angered by their reach out), and even communicating relief Putin was going to shut down Kiev.
Hmmm...?
