Philadelphia reached a grim milestone on Friday, when the city marked reported 100 murders year-to-date, the earliest in the calendar year it has marked the milestone number since at least 2007, according to the police commissioner and statistics.

Line up 100 dead people up on the street, and it will appear like a horrific brutal battle took place. This should be front page news everywhere, but now it’s passe.
Makes me think of the scene in Atlanta in “Gone With The Wind” where all the wounded soldiers are lying on the ground.
