Domestic abusers still have access to guns. That has got to change. (barf alert)
LA Times ^ | 10 mar 2022

Seven months before a man shot and killed his three daughters and a family friend in a Sacramento church last week, a man in Kern County shot and killed his wife, two sons and a sheriff’s deputy responding to violence at their home. In July 2020, a Madera County man shot and killed his wife as she was putting their three children in her minivan. And in November 2019, a San Diego man shot and killed his wife and four sons, ranging in age from 3 to 11.

The only thing more horrific than any one of these murders is the fact that our society has allowed them to pile up, year after year, to form a sickening pattern: innocent children and vulnerable women killed despite having turned to courts and law enforcement for protection.

Before these four men became killers, all of them were abusers with a documented history of violence against their family members. All of them were subject to restraining orders that prohibited them from possessing guns. And yet, because of California’s lax enforcement of gun prohibitions, and the availability of “ghost guns” and illegal firearms, people who were known to be dangerous were able to kill

The LS Slimes clutches their pearls over ANYONE having access, other than their security forces of course.

They are about as far left as print media goes.

I think you are being optimistic. The Times may note the coincidence but they will not take the additional step of concluding that the bad guys don’t obey laws. That is simply a step too far for them.

Domestic Abusers? Is that like Resident Brandon and his band of traitors in the alphabet agencies? I agree, they should not have access to guns, and especially not access to government jobs.

“F” everyone who supports this nonsense. My ex-wife attacked me and tried to gauge me eyes out. I put my forearm against her throat so she would take her thumbs out of my eyes. My estranged daughter who is also a prosecutor called the police and I was charged. The incident was accidentally recorded when my cell phone was tossed across the room by my es-wife. When you listen to the recording you hear my wife going nuts attacking me and my daughter yelling “stop mom, stop mom”. I was charged with Felony strangulation and took a deal for simple assault. My Attorney said I had a very good case, but that as I guy I am guilty till proven innocent. He also said you can not trust jury’s and not to discount my daughters influence in the court. After the fact I found out about the Lauttenberg Amendment and that I am a restricted person. I never was in trouble, had no issues with rage, alcohol or drugs and also have an active clearance. You have no idea how “F’d” up the legal system is till you get caught up in it.

Yup, totally agree.

Women attack men in domestic violence with weapons and body parts and they hardly ever get charged.

Sacramento killer: David Mora Rojas (illegal alien).
Madera Co. murderer: Julio Garay (lengthy criminal history; no info on citizenship status).
San Diego killer: Jose Valdivia.
Kern Co killer: Jose Manuel Ramirez. Previous arrests.

Obviously non-hispanic men commit murders every day, and most hispanic men including illegal aliens never murder anyone. But it’s impossible to miss that maybe there is a cultural thing going on here. All of the killers had histories of domestic violence at minimum.

So here are some crazy ideas: don’t allow illegal aliens and criminals to have firearms; deport criminal aliens; jail domestic abusers. Blame and control violent offenders, not inanimate objects.

But the new $1.5 trillion Federal spending bill just passed imposes NEW GUN CONTROL on the United States, including deputizing state and local police to punish those 99 percent who are innocent, but fail the NICS check for gun buying, because of poor Federal recordkeeping.
