Yahoo News GOP Rep. Cawthorn calls Zelensky ‘a thug,’ says Ukraine is pushing ‘woke ideologies’ Christopher Wilson Christopher Wilson·Senior Writer Thu, March 10, 2022, 1:51 PM EST Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky a "thug" at a campaign event over the weekend.
"Remember that Zelensky is a thug," Cawthorn said in a video obtained by WRAL. "Remember that the Ukrainian government is incredibly corrupt and is incredibly evil and has been pushing woke ideologies."
The 26-year-old Cawthorn’s statement is a deviation from mainstream Republican support of Zelensky and the Ukrainian people as they defend themselves against the Russian invasion, but it echoes other comments made at the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.

What % do you suppose is grift/payoff, for The Club?
We know The Big Doofus gets 10%, off the top.
I’m just wondering about the overall…since WE THE TAXPAYER are paying it
Me, too. Cawthorn must be reading the same background intel on Zelensky as I am.
As for Zelensky being an observant Jew, that is also hogwash.
His wife is a Christian, and his three children have been baptized in the Church.
Trust Putin.
Makes perfect sense. I bet all those clamoring for Ukraine have conveniently forgotten we executed a naval blockade of sovereign country without any direct provocation by Cuba, simply because we did not want USSR weapons 90 miles from our border. It was the Cuban missile crisis, and it created fears triggering WW-III.
But Russia is not allowed to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO followed by stockpiling of NATO weapons! Ukraine is not 90 miles from Russia border, it is right smack on it’s border.
I expect corruption. The only place it enrages me is here in the US. We can work with corruption in other countries. In fact, it is an extra handle with which to control an ‘ally.’
What makes me mad is people using our corruption to try to get the US entangled in a foreign war that disastrous for us. I don’t see any strategic interests for the US in Ukraine and I see a lot of useless risk, not to mention more spending.
Agree. There is nothing for us to gain and much to lose.

The Ukraine leadership is not going to give up power simply because it’s citizens are suffering. No corrupt politicians ever give up for the well being of people.
Well, there is this Youtube video—
Volodymyr Zelensky the Ukrainian president in transvestite dance

They have their deep state operatives, too.
And the incestuous choice of leaders.
Zelensky is not the outsider he pretends to be. He is deeply involved in the inbred corruption of Ukraine.
People are just now realizing this.
Zelensky is a media creation, just like Obama.
Hunter Biden was a result of the Poroshenko regime. Zelinski was elected in May 2019 by the people to try to drain the swamp over there. Uninformed people are dangerous
TBH, there are no virtuous world leaders. We just support those leaders that serve our best interest at the moment.
“We need to stay out of this, Ukraine must stay out of NATO.”
Absolutely.
This guy reminds me of Beto O'Rourke. Looking at Cauthorn without knowing his background, people could think he was a fake wounded war veteran, just like O'Rourke is a fake Latino.
Mainstream Republican support? More like Washington Uniparty support. But they don't have to buy gas or worry about having enough money to buy groceries this week.
ONLY AFTER putting Ukraine on notice for 15 years that Russia can not and will not tolerate NATO member right smack on its border. But Zelensky kept pushing for NATO membership.
We did not tolerate 90 miles away Cuba from stocking USSR weapons. Ukraine is not 90 miles from Russian border.
Soros’ money and his minions had Zelensky installed. If Soros owns Zelensky, he can’t possibly be good for the Ukranian people. From reports I’ve read, I understand that Putin and Soros are not friends.
You need to learn history. We almost triggered WW-III by naval blockade of Cuba because we did not want USSR weapons 90 miles from our border. But Russia is not allowed to fight NATO members right smack on it’s borders?
There is no "ONLY AFTER" that justifies that kind of action against civilians by a so-called "superpower" in the 21st century.

Cawthorn has more guts than you, keyboard warrior, any day of the week.
