I agree, but I was being polite. His wife is a great person, but one with poor taste in men. I chose to not make an issue of it.
What really bugged me though, is he called me out for being an idiot, when I was absolutely right.

The ONLY way to make sure it never happens again is to reverse the theft that has occurred by putting the crooks in jail and installing the rightful winner of the election. THAT will prevent it ever happening again. Everything else is empty words.

Just a suggestion if you live in Wisconsin, or any state that has a public voter registration system on the web:
If you know the first and last name and birth date of a nursing home resident who is obviously incapable of voting, whether a relative or not, in WI you can go to the voter registration site and confirm whether that resident is registered. You can also track their ballot, i.e., whether they’ve requested one, received one, and sent one back.
Obviously, if they’re incompetent (and ruled so, with a guardian appointed), they shouldn’t even be registered, much less receive a ballot and vote it. One of my relatives, for example, while not deemed incompetent, has absolutely no interest in voting nor the knowledge to cast an informed vote any longer. He should not be voting, and would not unless induced to do so by someone. So, I’m keeping an eye on the process. Thinking about it, I suppose I should tell him to revoke his registration since he has no intention of voting.
This would make a good project, actually. It wouldn’t be that hard to get names and birth dates of other residents in your local nursing home, particularly if you’re often visiting a relative. Finding out which ones are in no mental condition to cast a valid vote and tracking their ballots could yield a lot of results. Even better, it could lead to a process where their registrations were revoked permanently, making it even more difficult for someone else to induce them to vote. After all, even a guardian shouldn’t be allowed to cast the vote of an incompetent ward.
And there in lies the basic problem with liberals/socialists/brain-washed students. They don't realize that general elections hang on 4 or 5 SWING States. They don't even know what a SWING State is.
Let me clarify what a SWING State is to your uninformed SIL. They are States that are so close that a few thousand votes in either direction can make the difference in who their Electors decide as winner of the State. It was just a matter of 537 Bush votes that that he carried Florida.
Of course, it took the USSC to stop yet another targeted count in Broward, Florida that the Florida Supreme Court tried to change their own State Constitution mid-election. If I have that wrong, please correct me.

The second-most important story out of 2020, was the incredible machinations that Nanzi went to, to simultaneously attempt to overturn Iowa (IA-2) Rep. Miller-Meeks 6-vote victory when Rita Hart would not accept any booby prize, while at the same time assured that no MSM creep would point out Rita Hart was complaining about election fraud in freaking Iowa, while the MSM was busy libeling Trump for making identical accusations in (ahem) less-GOP ghettos than Iowa.

“It was six votes,” Pelosi told ABC News on Sunday, noting the number of votes by which Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa) defeated her Democratic opponent, Rita Hart.
Miller-Meeks was ultimately seated in Congress after votes were counted, recounted, and certified by the state. Several days ago, the House Administration Committee started a process that could lead to Miller-Meeks being unseated.
“It was six votes, and our candidate Rita Hart, the Democratic candidate asked for this process to begin,” Pelosi told ABC. “What the committee did, the House Administration Committee, was very narrow to take the process to the next step and see where it goes from there. An election of six votes out of 400,000 votes cast. This is not unique. This has happened, maybe even when you were in the Capitol before when races had been close one side or the others saying, let’s take it to the House.”
She said that former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia “agreed that the House has the authority to seat members,” meaning that “we can count the votes.”
Several days prior to her interview, Pelosi told reporters in a press conference that overturning the election in favor of Hart is a “hypothetical” situation but later said it’s possible.
“Well, I respect the work of the committee,” the California Democrat said on March 12. “I did see, as you saw in the press, what they decided to—and they were following my, as I read it, the requirements of the law as to how you go forward. And how you go forward is the path you’re on and we’ll see where that takes us. But there could be a scenario to that extent. Yes.”
Pelosi, with her Sunday comment, appeared to be echoing a statement sent out by Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), the chair of the House Administration Committee, to her members saying that “the margin separating the two candidates was only six votes out of almost 400,000 cast: less than 1/6 of 1 percent. That’s six votes—not 6,000; not 600; not 60 or even 16—just six fewer votes than we have members of this committee.”
