Anyone else sick and tired of hearing so-called political experts predict that Democrats are going to lose badly in this year's midterms? Apparently it doesn’t matter that in President Joe Biden’s first year, 6.6 million new jobs were reported, the strongest first year of job gains of any president since our government began collecting such data in 1939. Nor does it appear to matter that unemployment is down from 6.7 percent in former President Donald Trump’s last full month in office to 3.8 percent and that wages are up 5 percent over the past year.

I don’t remember anyone thinking the 1998 midterms would be a blowout for the Republicans.
That was the year of Clinton’s impeachment, and the media gathering the wagons around in a circle because it was all about sex.
It was the year that I joined Free Republic, though. The FReeper March on Washington. Doctor Raoul and his Satan costume with the sign that said “Bill Clinton married my sister!” I do remember I became emerged in politics here. We had high hopes here, but no one expected it wouldn’t be easy.
I love the way the spin the jobs reports. Covid hit during the last few months of PDJT’s term, people got laid off due to the scamdemic. That somehow equates to 6+ percent unemployment. Then Biden cheats his way into office, the shut downs end and those same people return to work. Now it is becomes jobs created, even though they had the jobs in the first place and were just coming off the unemployment roles.
Little Deanie Weenie doing a little whistling past the graveyard. What a moron.
Wait until the full effect of inflation kicks in. It has only just started. All those wage gains? Wiped out.
What a turd. Only an idiot like Gropey and his minions would take credit for jobs being “recovered” after the government shut down so many workers in an unprecedented move.
Supposedly, this guy is an “american” lawyer, comedian and journalist. IOW, a three time loser.
U R right, 2018 mid terms was the first big steal. Nobody said boo. 10 republicans , 7 in CA went to bed that night winners only to wake up losers. The economy was humming, Trump couldn’t be more popular and they kept saying it’s just normal for the party in power to lose in mid terms. Even with 40 retirees, the steal was blatant with conservatives losing everywhere.
Hmmm, that would have been... December 2020. Now, what might have caused a LOT of new unemployment leading up to December 2020? Hmmm, so curious. I just can't put my finger on it...
The MSM is beyond pathetic.
It was easier to cheat on one election across 50 states than it is to cheat on 435 different district elections.
Senate elections, because they are statewide.
Also, vote-by-mail is where the real fraud was done. Dominion was just a sideshow.
2020 6 states 6 cities 7 counties!
Quote: “ Yes, but Biden et al are already blaming Putin for this, a strategy that may work.”
Sometimes blame can give cover. But when things get that bad nobody cares who is to blame. They just care what you are doing to fix it.
People going back to their jobs isn’t creating a job
“They seem to think most voters in the country are about 8 years old.”
The problem is too many voters have the mental capacity of an 8 year old....cadaver.
How many people actually take the time to research issues and make up their own minds. No, much easier to let the harpies from The Spew, angry homos like Don Lemón and others of their ilk form their opinions for them.
Thinkin be like...HARD yo.
Meh, whatever. I’m sure there were plenty of similar-sounding opinion pieces written in early 2010 before the Obama-led Democratic Party got wiped out.
Say what?
Sure...And the Ukrainian army is kicking the Russians’ asses.
Do nothing about the cheating ... they will cheat again.
The economy was rocking. The Internet Bubble was going strong. Republicans had majorities in the House and Senate. Why was there supposed to be a blow out?
Republicans often prefer to be in the minority. It’s much easier to complain than perform.
