Yum Brands Inc, the parent company of the KFC and Pizza Hut, said on Tuesday it was suspending investment in Russia and operations at its restaurants, redirecting all profits from operations in the country to humanitarian efforts.
A growing number of Western firms have pulled out of Russia amid concerns over its war with Ukraine which has forced 2 million people to flee the country, according to UN figures.
The Kentucky-based Yum! Brands joined western brands, including McDonald’s, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, and PepsiCo that are halting operations in Russia over its war on Ukraine.

Good news for the health of the Russian People, if they can just lay off of the Vodka.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It looks like the Russkis are going to have to lick their own fingers. They’ve been cancelled by the “college” Snowflakes and their Girls Gone Wild princesses.
Will the Russkies consider Colonel Sanders’ participation to be direct military assistance?
The dirty little secret underlying ALL of the cancel Russia stories is that Russia has successfully exited the Rothschild Central Bankster fiat stranglehold that it has on almost all other nations on Earth.
Russia has been preparing for what’s going on now, fully expecting it.
Russian gold reserves are well stocked.
Again, the working people must suffer the most from leadership.
I can’t help but feel the virtue signaling crowd is going about this the wrong way. If you wanted to inflict harm on a population you would be pumping more poison food, lowering prices, making it financially difficult to eat healthy. You would be pumping degenerate propaganda for free, Netflix would be offering free tier subscriptions or discounts, not pulling service.
Gives Pizza Hut more time to teach our kids about Critical Race Theory...
OK, so the Russians can’t get American fast food now.
This is punishing Putin how?
If NYS kinda, sorta invades Pennsy, will Kentucky Fried Cat (my late dad’s nickname for KFC) pull out of NY...?
Hmmmmm....
Moscow McDonald’s is swamped with customers desperate to get a Big Mac before the chain closes across Russia
Seriously, though, Yum Brands is just fine and dandy with Deep State doing whatever, from Obamacare to thus.
Which is why we don’t patronize anything owned by Yum Brands.
My Russian friends don’t like vodka. They consider it a drink for alcoholics. Whiskey is the preferred hard drink. And beer of course. LOL.
This is way more than virtue signaling. It’s a massive corporate divestment from Russia. Millions of Russians will lose their jobs and that will cascade through Russian society.
Lars on Survival Russia has been taking videos of the grocery store and gas station prices since the sanctions started. He is a Dane who married a Russian and lives about 500 miles ENE of Moscow.

If Taco Bell goes dark in Ruskie Land,
it will be a very sad day indeed.
Pray for our Commie Brethren.

Good one!
So why can’t Russia just keep all these stores open anyway?
