Warning UK faces biggest income squeeze in 50 years

War in Ukraine will push up energy prices and see UK families squeezed even further, a think tank has warned.

The Resolution Foundation forecasts that a typical household's income will fall by about £1,000 this year once the effect of inflation is accounted for.

That would be the biggest real-terms fall in incomes since the mid-1970s, it added.

A government spokesperson said it recognises the pressures households are facing.

Many families were already expecting their monthly spend to go up when the energy price cap jumps in April, and National Insurance contributions rise.

But Iin a new report, the Resolution Foundation said the Ukraine conflict would push up living costs even further as the prices of fuel and other goods surged.

It expects inflation, which measures how the cost of living changes over time, to peak in April at 8.3%. That's much higher the Bank of England's forecast of 7.25% back in February.

This isn’t because of the “war in ukraine”. Politicians can blame Russia all they want but the fault lies in themselves.

During the globalist reset you’ll all need to take a HUGE pay cuts in the form of insane, bankrupting prices. Biden and his “officials” have told us we’d all have to sacrifice and pay for Ukraine. Going from the COVID misery/disaster caused by government, to punishing, out of control inflation, country killing gas prices etc.

All this in a little over a year. Think how good it will be this time next year.

The need more “diversity” from the third world to come in and go on welfare. Diversity is our greatest strength.

And Russia is laughing all the way to the bank.
With super high oil/gas prices, they make plenty of money even when they sell much less oil and gas.
And woke western countries are getting clobbered by very high gas and heating bills.
Plus the biggest importer of Russian oil by far is China, who will never impose sanctions on Russia.

Russia gets to do what it wants so do we. Except Biden has plans that don’t include prosperity and safety for Americans.

When I am Supreme Ruler all think tanks will be destroyed and the inhabitants driven naked into the howling wilderness.

Yeah, now the work force is disgusted, downs tools, walks
Innocence is injured, experience just talks
Everyone seeks damages, everyone agrees that
These are classic symptoms of a monetary squeeze

On ITV and BBC they talk about the curse
Philosophy is useless, theology is worse
History boils over, there’s an economics freeze
Sociologists invent words that mean “industrial disease”

Correct.
But it includes sending his top people to the evil dictatorship in Venezuela to go beg them for oil.
The Maduro Venezuelan regime is far worse than Putin.
