Is there a source for this? There was pretty much zero chance of UKR getting into NATO in the next 5-10 years, but it wouldn't surprise me that she screwed that up.
Let’s say you fly a mission. You come back and it’s not just a matter of fuel and ammunition, it’s a matter of doing a dozen maintenance items and fixing all of the stuff that broke. A crew or guys will spend hours on the plane making it ready again. Those guys need a huge number of supplies...spare parts. Those are very specific spare parts and they have to be stored in precise places so they can be easily accessed. For every flight hour their might be ten, twenty or thirty hours of maintenace and upkeep and that’s assuming the plane didn’t get damaged. Without an airbase and all of the fixed facilities that implies a plane is not that much use.

Thanks for that quote. It allowed me to find the full text. Clearly, she was not saying “we want Ukraine in NATO”. I really don’t care if people want to misquote or twist her words, but we shouldn’t do it in a way to undermine our own country and justify Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
After I searched and found the quote I agree with your comment. I had read a stronger interpretation somewhere else but I don’t remember where. Ukraine joining NATO has been a red button issue for Russia for a long time. Older diplomates warned about expanding NATO. Just from the standpoint of the NWO, they seem to be in hindsight right ignoring the concerns of Russia. Many of the NATO countries are commenting suicide by immigration.
The Biden administration seems to be undermining our country well enough on their own with the green light fiasco, energy policy, and the southern border.
Would be nice if we had a President who could coordinate policy and enforce it instead of an illegitimately elected senile sock puppet of a fractious Dem Party cabal.

LOL! They tried to use Poland as a cut out....to get the Poles to commit to an act of war against Russia by flying warplanes belonging to them from their territory into Ukraine to be at the disposal of the Ukrainians.
Instead the Poles were too smart for them. The Poles said “OK...if you want them so badly, we will hand those planes over to YOU and YOU can then hand them over to the Ukrainians and fly them into a war zone from somebody else’s territory.”
Now the Deep State warmongers are in a pickle. They didn’t want to have their fingerprints all over such an obvious escalation.
So stupid to talk about such a move. They should have just done it on the Q.T. with more Migs showing up at Ukrainian bases to take on the attacking aircraft. Uke pilots coming over a dozen or so at a time, picking up the aircraft and flying them home.
Now the enemy has been alerted.
