President Joe Biden adamantly condemned calls for loosening restrictions on domestic energy prices on Tuesday, arguing it would not help lower gas prices.
“Loosening environmental regulations or pulling back clean energy investment won’t — let me expand. Won’t. Will not lower energy prices for families,” he said during a speech at the White House announcing his decision to ban oil imports from Russia to punish Russian President Vladimir Putin for escalating his war in Ukraine.
Republicans excoriated the president’s efforts to restrict domestic oil production, as the average cost of gas reached record highs over the weekend.
The president argued for more electric cars and other policies promoted by the left’s Green New Deal as the solution.

“But transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles powered by clean energy with tax credits to help American families winterize their homes and use less energy — that will,” he said. “That will help.”
Biden spoke of a global consensus together with key leaders in Europe on reducing their use of oil, and said he was working with them on “long term strategies” to do so.
“They have to wean themselves off of Russian oil. It’s just not tenable,” he said.
Biden shared his dream of a future where Americans did not have to worry about the price of gas, if they pursued his “green” energy future.
“If we do what we can, it will mean that no one will have to worry about price of gas pump in the future,” he said, complaining that “tyrants like Putin” were “weaponizing” their natural resources.

How you going to supply the energy to charge all those electric vehicles, Joe? How are tractors supposed to pull planters or combines to harvest food? How are jet planes supposed to fly? Ships to sail? How are the regular people supposed to afford these expensive electric vehicles?
These are basic questions that FoxNews and right media should be asking on every single broadcast about green energy.

This bastard ANGERS me to no end. He is either flat out stupid or he is manipulating prices to attempt to force people into electric cars. Which few of us can afford, by the way.

Also, how do you charge an electric vehicle if the windmills aren’t turning, and the solar panels are frozen up? Remember Texas this last winter.
Burning oil to produce electricity, to then feed it through an electric grid is inefficient, to power vehicles. We can store gasoline, and use when needed. Wind mills, solar panels, and hydroelectric can’t provide enough power. Especially since they’re demanding that all nuclear power plants be shut down, along with coal powered electric generators.
The Greens major goal is to have everyone evacuate the countryside and move into the cities, and then use mass transportation to move around.
These people are insane.
And they’re in charge.

i will walk barefoot on broken glass before I ever buy an electric car. Do these dumb fools know that almost everything requires petroleum or natural gas products for manufacturing? Even their damn precious wind turbine blades...

It will be with fusion power - which is only 10-20 years away - just like it has been for the last 70 years!
Remember when fission powered nuclear plants were envisioned, the electricity was going to be so cheap, it wouldn’t even be metered, you would just pay a flat rate...
So does this electricity to power the cars grow on trees? Or fall from the sky? Or just magically comes up out of the ground into those groovy little charging stations? ( for freeeeee!!!)
