Google and YouTube and all internet services from outside Russia, need to end services there.

The Russian people will be lost without those services.

I don’t understand the problem. McDonalds is making money on russians, right? Does the raw ingredients come from here or Russia? Whereas, say Nikes are made in China and we pay them so China makes the money. By selling to Russia we are pulling money out of Russia, right?

Calls for McDonalds and Coca-Cola to refuse to provide their products to people without a vaccination card or who have spouted conservative talking points on social media are increasing!

Why aren’t the same people pressuring the White House to stop buying Russian oil?

I think Coca Cola should stay there and teach the Russians to be less white.

Remember Coke’s woke posturing not only on Georgia’s election laws but also GA’s abortion heartbeat law? Now they’re suddenly apolitical? That’s rich. Shove it, soda boys.

I wouldn’t respond either.
But um....will anybody actually care if Coca Cola stopped selling in Russia?
Colas (and burgers) are about the easiest things to make if anyone wants them.

Do the Russians have their own equivalent of our GPS system, or do the their people rely on Google maps and other systems leaching off ours.

It would be great if we could selectively turn off the clocks when they reach their orbit above Moscow and then turn back on when they leave their area.

There is the legal issue of trademark abandonment.

Also, Russian franchisees might still make and sell the stuff without paying royalties. Corporate America is not going to let their rubles get away from bottom lines.

So McDonalds and Coca-Cola are doing a favor to Russia by making money there? Well, don’t do me any favors.

I find it odd that people would applaud these multi-national corporations putting the screws to any nation. It seems to be creating a power that is not restrained locally/regionally, but is ubiquitous in its ability to destroy.

But if these multi-nationals do decide to pull out all the stops, then it would make the situation all the more clear for any country that wants to retain its sovereignty...cull the power of multi-nationals now...before they get too power. Addtionally, sieze any infrastructure that they have within your nation (without compensation) and use it to construct an alternative to their product as soon as possible.
