I find it odd that people would applaud these multi-national corporations putting the screws to any nation. It seems to be creating a power that is not restrained locally/regionally, but is ubiquitous in its ability to destroy.

But if these multi-nationals do decide to pull out all the stops, then it would make the situation all the more clear for any country that wants to retain its sovereignty...cull the power of multi-nationals now...before they get too power. Addtionally, sieze any infrastructure that they have within your nation (without compensation) and use it to construct an alternative to their product as soon as possible.

Big companies exercising political will over those thoey disagree with USED to be a thing we on FR did not like.

Now, it seems most here on FR support this abuse of power.
