The Russians have had their most success in southern Ukraine because they control the Black Sea and their Navy has without much disruption been able to land troops and supplies. The Ukrainians need to implement creative, effective attacks on these ships.
looks like the Bykov was sunk!
That’s a serious, pretty capable looking platform.

When I read “patrol ship” I was thinking something like a big Coast Guard cutter. This is much more serious.
2 pound unguided missiles against a warship off the coast. Sounds like desperation. Hope the counter battery fire goes well against the forces of Das Reich 2nd SS. Oh wait,... I got confused! It was a Uke Army unit that uses the same emblems.

Wow.

I see a smoky ship a few miles off the coast. I see no evidence that a 122 unguided rocket at close to max range hit a navy ship with a 20 pound warhead.

1700 tons, 300 feet long. Sunk with a 29 pound warhead. The Ukes would never lie. We needed these Ukes at Samar when the Yamato came down.
As I’ve been saying:
Ukraine officials and media are lying to us.
Russian officials and media are lying to us.
USA officials and media are lying to us.
EU officials and media are lying to us.
UK officials and media are lying to us.
Etc.
In war, the first casualty is the truth.
Everything about this should be viewed from that perspective.
If the shell came through the deck, nothing was going to stop it. Thinnest plate on the deck, except for the flight deck and even then not very think. Not even 1 pound plate on the flight deck.
I couldn’t get this to load, but wanted to say you are doing a great job with all these posts. Thx.
one press release that the harbor has been mined would slow them down for a few days
