Watch live here: https://wepatriot.org/peoplesconvoy/live/
The convoy has updated their plans. They are in Hagerstown Maryland about 1 hour from DC right now . They will be circling the 495 beltway around DC at minimum legal speeds TWICE then returning to Hagerstown speedway for the night. They will NOT BE STOPPING or impeding traffic. They will NOT be going into DC. The convoy will repeat this slow roll encircling of DC every day until their demands - an end to national COVID emergency. President poopy pants has stated he will veto any bill ending national emergency.

Yep, that was the whole intention of the right to assemble. It is meant as a powerful tool to “legally offend or inconvenience” and make minds change. NO MATTER WHAT LOCAL LAW SAYS. There is no “except if”. And everyone is just bending over, giving up, and surrendering that powerful Constitutional right and tool.

Everyone knows what really needs to be done. Pretty assuming of you.
Based on mine, and a few other replies, your "Everyone" does not seem to include.... everyone.
As opposed to the glass being half-empty, not only is it at least half-full, it is FULL-FULL.
YMMV, good luck to you.

It's about a 10 mile drive from any point on the loop to the Hill. That seems like a safe distance doesn't it? And since they're constantly rolling, no stopping, no parking, they're avoiding creating those standoffs we saw in Ottawa.

What? Brandon’s been welcoming them in and flying them to locations all o er the country.Nope. Families and unaccompanied children get let in. Single men get sent back immediately.
The numbers I've heard are 800k admitted and 1.2M sent back without a hearing.

Apparently, he doesn’t see the need to say what that is out loud. Perhaps he’s advocating something illegal?

I got that feeling when I donated to them when they stayed overnight here that it was going to be an exercise in futility.
It is, and the trucks are still hauling like everything in spite of it all.

Between arguments with my boss and the prospect of getting arrested for protesting from the truck, I quit an $80,000/year driving job because I was done with masks and getting my temperature taken by receiving secretaries and security guards. There are a lot of people in the same situation. Somehow my bills are getting paid and I’m still here. I hope you’re doing well.

Except for their protected feral class and assorted gestapo hirelings, DC is basically a ‘no guns’ zone with draconian penalties attached.
My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that there are more than few armed truckers and said statist gestapo would salivate at the chance of tossing good folks in their gulag.
See, for example, the J6 captives . . .

“They will NOT BE STOPPING or impeding traffic. They will NOT be going into DC. The convoy will repeat this slow roll encircling of DC every day until their demands - an end to national COVID emergency.”
One-third of the DC workforce likely takes that highway (the rest on 1-66 or the trains). If you have seen DC traffic, you will know the trucks will turn a one-hour commute into a four hour commute, making utter hell for alternate routes and side streets at the same time. This is affecting the people who are writing the rules. It is a good play.

You’re not going to win people onto your side by making them late to work and possibly losing wages.
The folks who work in DC were never on our side.

Nope. Those don’t come close to the numbers “I’ve heard.”I heard those from a guy on Bannon's show. He's concerned that Biden won't continue to extend Title 42.
The official number expelled under Title 42 through January, 2022 is 1.6M.

They will NOT be going into DC. Smart move.
All those traps set by the authorities in DC will have been wasted.

I know that truckers have nothing to do all day but consider “what could happen.” It’s negligent as a driver to not think ahead. The fact courageous people are going into danger and putting their property, their bodies, their very souls at risk in what could be a one way trip - suicide mission is a testament to the spirit of self sacrifice we find in so many of our country’s heroes.

I don’t want my job back. I do not want to work for a company who can let loyal, good employees go, without a safety net, over an experimental jab. But I do want justice and will have it.

‘It is just an exercise in futility’
Any exertion of energy to express oneself is never futile. Is is pointless when a bird flies? Is all that flapping just a waste of time, flying solely for the need to fly? No, it is NOT futile. That bird is seen by everybody. That expression is an INSPIRATION to everybody, even to The Creator if nobody else is watching.
I have a song for you:
