You don’t want to take one for the team?
Well, if I can't escape the impact area, might as well crack a brewski and enjoy the fla.....
When the warning sounds stay away from windows and stay indoors. When you see the flash place head between knee and kiss your ass goodbye.
Yea but since so few love and worship God my prayers have been heard and answered in record time... especially since the homosexual Obamas and gay DNC.
As for the righteousness of those 99 that quote mocks the self righteous rather than 99 heavenly should. Not harp;)
Heavenly souls.
Russia has our big cities in their missiles.
Conservatives will rule in the aftermath, after the liberals are dead.
Meanwhile the nuclear bomb officer on the ballistic subs in the Pacific are worried whether they’ll be properly pronouned by junior enlisted personnel.
I knew there had to be a silver lining somewhere...
I knew there had to be a silver lining somewhere...
Russia has everything in their missiles. About 4500 warheads (probably more).
I think when this goes nuclear, they're not just going to launch a few against big cities. They're going to blow their whole wad. Launch everything!
We're all going to get nuked. Not just liberals.
.... Don’t worry ..... The WOKE Liberals have declared many Blue Cities as ...... Nuclear Free Zones ..... I live in the Los Angeles area so I should be safe .....
We tend to think of nuclear weapons as as city-ending weapons.
There are small nuclear weapons.
What will we do if Putin uses one on, say, an airfield?
25 Mile radiation fall out area around the bomb blast. Hit the road before the winds blow if you don’t melt. (most likely into the Atlantic). Close ventilation systems. Take iodine pill with high mg level (if you can find it). 2 inches of lead, 4 inches of steel, 12 inches of water.... Blocks out 90% of radiation.
Nuke school in the Navy did prep me a little for nuclear accidents.......
I’m with you. The best thing to do in the event of a nuclear attack is to make sure that you are right with God..in whatever way you can.
I live far away from any useful targets.
However, in the old days the Russian nukes were notoriously inaccurate—so that may not be much comfort.
;-)
Depends the size of the warhead.
If you are within a half mile of the blast of a 1 mega ton weapon. that means a 99% death rate. Basically 2 miles with a 10 mega ton weapon.
You’ll get 3rd degree burns if you get caught outside at around 8 miles for a 1 mega ton blast and around 20 miles from a 10 mega ton blast.
Glass will penetrate your body at around 8 miles with a 1 mega ton blast and around 15 miles from a 10 mega ton blast.
Do all you chest thumpers still want a war?
That is the sin of presumption. To be repentant you actually need to be sorry.
Anything East of a line from North Dakota to Kansas would be hosed.
LOL, I’m on it.
That's why they built their yields so big, to make up for a loss of accuracy.
Tsar Bomba was the single most physically powerful device ever deployed on Earth. A hydrogen bomb with a yield of 50 megatons. And it was air dropped. It was designed to produce 100 megatons but the Russians knew there was no way the carrier aircraft could escape so they reduced the yield by replacing a secondary uranium charge with lead ballast. Even then, they gave the aircrew a 50/50 chance of survival (they all survived).
Here's a photo taken from 100 miles away.
For comparison, if you're in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this is what Denver looks like.
