Biden on verge of making worst deal ever with Iran

As the civilian death toll mounts in Ukraine and the world prepares for unspeakable crimes against humanity yet to come, the Biden administration said Friday it’s close to announcing a Russian-brokered deal with Iran that will flood the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism with billions of dollars and leave Tehran on the nuclear weapons threshold.

While the 2015 Iran nuclear deal was bad enough, the coming deal is even worse.

Much has changed in the years since the Obama administration entered the old Iran deal — an agreement that let Iran keep enriching uranium, developing nuclear-capable missiles and sponsoring terrorism in exchange for billions of dollars in US sanctions relief. A deal that would supposedly put Iran’s nuclear program in check and lead a radical regime to moderation failed to do either.

The Obama White House claimed the Iran deal guaranteed the most intrusive inspections the world had ever known, but only Israel’s Mossad found the evidence Iran was cheating — a secret nuclear weapons archive that the mullahs kept hidden before, during and after negotiating the Iran deal. That archive led inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN’s nuclear watchdog, to at least four previously unknown sites inside Iran. At three of them, the inspectors found traces of uranium.

The madness of slow Joe, Iran edition (2)

The announcement of a new arrangement with Iran by the Biden administration is imminent. The servants of Vladimir Putin have kindly facilitated the arrangement with the best interests of the United States at heart. Emanuele Ottolenghi’s Tablet column explains why “Accommodating Iran Will Be No More Successful Than Accommodating Russia.”

Now Richard Goldberg’s New York Post column pronounces the arrangement “the worst deal ever with Iran.” Goldberg arrives at a conclusion that I find inarguable: “Iran was cheating on the old deal from the very start and using its benefits to destabilize the Middle East. Which is exactly what they will do again, thanks to the new worst deal in history, brokered by Russia at the Biden administration’s request. It ensures the United States will face an increasingly imminent choice of military action against Iran or accepting an Iranian nuclear weapon.”

The absurdity from our point of view seems to me transparent. Why would they — Biden et al. — do this? I have no satisfactory answer to that question.

The Post notes in its author tag that Goldberg is a senior adviser at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies who served as a National Security Council official, deputy chief of staff to former Senator Mark Kirk, and Navy Reserve Intelligence Officer. This is a particularly impressive credential: “He was sanctioned by Iran in 2020.”

No surprise - FJB only makes anti-American BAD deals. It’s a feature, not a bug.

The left want to destroy our country and the Republicans are cheering them on. There is no opposition party.

Well, look at it this way. The insane Obama deal made it inevitable that Iran was going to get nukes. Had Biden not restarted this deal, they'd have blamed that on Trump. At least this way, the Dems own in 100%.

Small comfort, obviously. But as I said, they were going to get them anyway.

Biden is following up on obambam’s attempts to get a sunni moslem country nukified. That way, they will have more than just ‘security assurances’ that their neighbors won’t invade. Kinda like what’s happening in Ukraine — they gave up their nukes, they got invaded. Biden/obambam don’t want that for Iran.

The Uniparty strategy is to arm every country in the world—and then fight them all at the same time.

Our enemy is in DC—no need to look elsewhere.

A treaty will not pass the senate. It is just a money giveaway and a way to try to tie the hands of Israel.

I'm starting to think that Biteme and his shadow handlers are edging towards insane with their manic Trump Derangement Syndrome. Why else do they have such need to undo every positive thing Trump accomplished? I mean every policy of Trump's.

Yes, I know they are socialists/communists/globalists etc. Are they so convinced of a Global Reset that they will destroy America intentionally? It's starting to look like it, and I try to take every conspiracy with a grain of salt. Is there no one in their midst who says "wait a minute - might not be the best idea?" or "maybe we should not push so fast?".

I'm so glad I'm heading into the end stretch sometimes.
