Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday that the NATO alliance is “ready” for conflict with Russia if necessary after the US Embassy in Ukraine accused Russian President Vladimir Putin Friday of committing a war crime by ordering an attack on Europe’s largest nuclear power plant.
“Ours is a defensive alliance,” Blinken said prior to a meeting with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels. “We seek no conflict. But if conflict comes to us, we are ready for it, and we will defend every inch of NATO territory.”

What if the Russians destroy the trucks carrying those weapons? What if the drivers were from NATO countries? What if there really were weapons on the RMS Lusitania (there were)?

Russia’s whole back threat has been the controlling of enough of all the energy needs for the whole world that it was obvious to begin with they had something to work for them. With Russia’s control of the oil, natural gas exporting they do, to add nuclear based power is just falling in the line. And no one should complain. They got themselves into this mess. And Biden is right at the top of the list.
