About Those 'Neo-Nazis' in Ukraine...

Russian propaganda efforts have redoubled since Putin launched its aggression against Ukraine a week ago. Suddenly, a host of stories has appeared in conservative media that try to rally support for Vladimir Putin because he is allegedly fighting Nazis and the New Word Order in Ukraine. One of the worst examples is, perhaps, the Gateway Pundit, which has been duped into publishing stories by one Larry Johnson, whose only focus is the glorification of Russia and the smearing of Ukraine as a nation of Nazis.

We could respond by advising Russia and its advocates to worry about their own neo-Nazi infestation, but since this smear has now become widespread, it is prudent to address it.

The Nazi smear is a twisted but effective technique used by Russian propaganda and our left-wing media in equal abundance. Russia has been doing it since Stalin made it "a thing." This smear is effective because its victims try to distance themselves from one another and sometimes join in accusations, hoping others won't think of them as Nazis. It's also effective because it's extremely dirty. Trying to debunk it makes one dive deep into repulsive dirt.

Remember how Trump was smeared over Charlottesville — where did those Neo-Nazis even come from? Remember Nick Sandmann? Remember how Kyle Rittenhouse "became" a neo-Nazi for shooting at violent thugs in self-defense? Of course you do. But somehow no one remembers it when exactly the same technique is used on Ukraine.

It’s usually safe to say that when the term “Nazi” is used, it’s probably just a meaningless smear. Just a cheap way to say, “I don’t like those guys”.

But, the term Globalist means something more. I see the ties between Ukraine and Hunter Biden. I see Soros, and Schwab and the rest of the Globalists rushing to support the corrupt Ukrainian regime. I won’t have any part of that.

The left’s hypocrisy:

Just calling people NAZIs is not enough to use violence against them.....unless it is here in the US and ANTIFA/BLM is conducting the violence.

These days, just about any symbol using straight lines and acute angles can be called a Nazi rune.

Azov is a far-right all-volunteer infantry military unit whose members – estimated at 900 – are ultra-nationalists and accused of harbouring neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology.

As a battalion, the group fought on the front lines against pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk, the eastern region of Ukraine. Just before launching the invasion..

.These forces were formerly privately funded by Ukraines oligarchs – the most known being Igor Kolomoisky, an energy magnate billionaire and then-governor of the Dnipropetrovska region.
Individual members have professed to being neo-Nazis, and hardcore far-right ultra-nationalism is pervasive among members.

In January 2018, Azov rolled out its street patrol unit called National Druzhyna to “restore” order in the capital, Kyiv. Instead, the unit carried out pogroms against the Roma community and attacked members of the LGBTQ community.

“Ukraine is the world’s only nation to have a neo-Nazi formation in its armed forces,” a correspondent for the US-based magazine, the Nation, wrote in 2019.

Anyone who believes that Russian “stopping the Nazis” propaganda completely lacks any semblance of critical thinking ability. It’s very similar to Hitler’s lies about “attacks from Poland” before launching the blitzkrieg in Sept. 1939.

You do know “the Nation” is the furthest left-wing publication in America, right? Certainly, you’re not really falling for their garbage, right?

All you pious virtue signaling look like fools. YOUR COUNTRY HAS TIES TO HUNTER BIDEN. YOUR COUNTRY HAS TIES TO US CITIZEN SOROS. YOUR COUNTRY HAS TIES TO GLOBALISTS. Will you have nothing to do with the United States? Should China invade?

Problem is, it’s a Strawman Argument to say only Gateway Pundit has reported on it.

One more:

The SUN

Neo-Nazi militias in Ukraine are preparing for all-out war with Russia as they arm themselves for the fight against Vladimir Putin’s forces

Pointing all of this out doesn’t make them or someone else pro-Putin.

The Main Stream Media should not be rooting for either side and opinion is the job of the editorial board of newspapers.

Secondly, there are people who don’t like Putin and yet who see Slo Joe’s, Hunter’s, Soros, the WEF, and other cretin like neo-Nazi’s involvement in this and in Ukraine, wondering to what extent Zelensky is corrupt, and are looking outside the narrow box some try to construct for others as the main stream media has done.

Saying someone is Pro-Putin” is along Rachel Maddow lines, when in reality many say Putin is horrible and also say the U.S. can play a role with sanctions, looking to restart Keystone XL, and letting Europe grow up and deal with their own back yard as the U.S. is $30 trillion on debt, going broke, and we don’t even take care of our own borders.

Nazis that aren’t even anti Semitic, just anti Russian. Putin used the same pretext to invade in 2015 and still has yet to provide any evidence that the rest of the world can acknowledge as genocide.

A little history on the push of the Third Reich into the Soviet Union in 1942. The Polish government had been knocked flat in 1940 by the blitzkrieg, that overwhelmed what was the largest horse cavalry in the world, the panzer tanks cutting through the Polish ranks like a knife through butter. German troops were massed on the western border of the Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union, and the Ukrainians, weary of their yoke under Stalin, actually welcomed the Germans. Many of them freely joined with the Nazis, as the advance was made on Mother Russia itself, until the advance was halted at Stalingrad, over the winter of 1942 and 1943. The siege of Stalingrad was not as complete as Hitler’s generals thought it should be, and the Wehrmacht was put through a meat grinder. It was just that the Russians defending Stalingrad outlasted them, and in the spring of 1943, the Eastern Front had to retreat through the lands they had so triumphantly conquered only two years earlier. Virtually all the Ukrainians that had sided with the Nazis either fled in the wake of the retreating Germans, or were slaughtered by the vengeful Red Army. Germany became the one place of relative safety for those Ukrainians who escaped the wrath of Stalin’s advancing horde, and made up a large part of the “stateless” displaced persons, or DPs, after the end of hostilities in 1945. Few of the Ukrainians accepted repatriation to their native land, for they knew what awaited them there, and they remained in Germany or spread even further west, to England and
France, where some went on to become citizens.

So in the eyes of the minions of the Soviet Union, the politically unreliable Ukrainians all became, in their terms “Nazis”, a prejudice that holds to this day.
