I guess I’m lucky to have made it this far.

I suspect the Founding Fathers understand this would happen if they let women vote. Bottom line is that once a tribal people have power, they will put the tribe first. You would probably see the same disproportionate numbers today in South Africa if you looked at the ratios in jobs that require higher education.
“Misrepresents the truth. The male data is skewed by black males. I suspect the normalized boy numbers with black numbers excluded are often closer to the girl numbers.”
I get your point and agree that things would obviously smooth out somewhat, but still not get close to even.
For example, prisons are about 50% black (discounting Hispanics, which is something recent on a national basis). So you take this number: “1314 - Incarcerated in state and federal prisons”, remove the half that are blacks, and you still get 607 as a result. I suspect that could be done in most other cases too...so not as extreme, but certainly not close to parity.
Your instinct is correct, and proven by my post #24.
“Since 1940, an average of 91,685 more male babies have been born each year than females, a total of 5,776,130 over that 63-year period. The highest sex birth ratio occurred in 1946 (1,059 male births per 1,000 females) while the lowest occurred in 1991 and again in 2001 (1,046 male births per 1,000 females).”

Slightly more boys are born than girls. The ratio apparently varies.
You left off neuter gender and common gender for words.
This article appears to be a 2020 update.
No gotcha here.

I remember reading an article, decades ago, that there are some males with a double Y chromosome. These males were usually the delinquents/lawbreakers/a-holes. Don’t know if there is anything to that now or not.
Thinking a lot more baby girls die in China and the ME.
