First Lady Jill Biden tried to interrupt President Joe Biden on Wednesday after he started getting into a debate with a reporter about abortion.
As the President and First Lady left the White House to board Marine One, Biden jogged up and stopped to talk to reporters.
Biden had ashes on his forehead for Ash Wednesday, a day marking the beginning of the Catholic season of Lent which prompted a reporter to ask him why he supported abortion when he claimed to be Catholic.
“I tell you what, I don’t want to get in a debate with you on theology, but you know…” Biden began.
The First Lady walked swiftly up to the president to get his attention and interrupted the exchange.
“Well, anyway,” Biden continued after his wife interrupted him. “I’m not going to make a judgment for other people.”
Biden told reporters he was giving up “all sweets” for Lent.
“And you know me, I start off with dessert,” he said. “No ice cream. Nothing.”
He said he received his ashes at the White House after meeting and praying with a cardinal.
Biden agreed with Pope Francis to pray and fast for the Ukrainian people on Wednesday, as they face escalating attacks from Russia.
“I think he’s right,” he said.

BIDEN: “I don’t want to get in a debate with you on theology, but you know...I’m not going to make a judgement for other people.”
REPORTER: “But you’re Catholic!”

In the 21st century, Catholicism seems to be maybe the most fluid of all religions or denominations. Or is that just for the rich & famous?

Biden’s abortion stance has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent babies since he took office. He has blood on his hands. He’s worse than Putin....

Imagine the treatment by the press of any Republican President if his wife acted as his nursemaid; rescuing him from awkward situations. It makes Biden look feeble, which he obviously is.
You state your beliefs and walk away.
Why would one religion or denomination debate another ?
No one is going to change sides because of human language.
Thats pretty generous of Xiden calling any discussion with him about ANYTHING, a “debate”.
Its like debating a damp sponge.

Theology debate? Abortion is murder and Biden knows it. What part of “murder” does he think is debatable?

Yuh. Except about masks and experimental vaccines, and what news you can print, and what you can say on the internet, and what you can defend yourself with, and what kind of energy you can use, and what the government can do with your money, and what we’ll teach your kids about the country that made everything they have possible, and who gets to share the showers in the gym with your 15 year old daughter, and what political positions you will have to hold in order to have access to things like financial services. Oh, and if you’re a human being waiting to be born, we’ll judge you right down the drain if we feel like it.
